At least one slot is configured to receive fluid and debris. The top surface of the plate in the border region includes a transition from the floor surface to the non-border region of the top surface of the plate.

Bio-renewable floor mats

Apparatus and methods for improved composition of floor coverings, utilizing bio-renewable materials, is disclosed. Floor coverings, or tacky mats, may be used in cleanroom environments to capture particulate matter from foot and equipment traffic. Bio-renewable materials may include thermoplastic starch (TPS) blends made from sustainable raw materials such as corn, tapioca, or the like. These bio-renewable materials may be blended and coextruded with synthetic or petro-based polymers. This reduces the environmental impact on production and disposal of the floor mat, while maintaining the physical and mechanical properties demonstrated by pure synthetic polymers.

Devices, systems and methods for cleaning and disinfecting footwear items are disclosed herein. In an aspect, an apparatus is disclosed comprising an ultraviolet light element configured to emit ultraviolet light toward a top covering element configured to receive one or more contaminated item, wherein the ultraviolet light element is located within a lower frame element. In another aspect, a grating element is disclosed comprising a frame of bars configured to support the one or more contaminated item; wherein the grating element is a ceiling enclosure portion of the lower frame element. In yet another aspect, a brush frame element mounted to an underside of the grating element is disclosed, wherein the brush frame element comprises a set of brush strips configured to protrude through at least one space between the frame bars.

Door mat
10702621 · 2020-07-07 ·

The door mat is a dry disinfection apparatus. The door mat comprises a pedestal, a sheeting pad, and a disinfecting substance. The disinfecting substance forms a coating on the sheeting pad. The sheeting pad mounts on the pedestal. The door mat is used by having a person step on the sheeting pad of the door mat during the normal walking process. The disinfecting substance chemically reacts with microorganisms found on the exterior surface of the footwear (or foot) placed on the sheeting pad. This chemical reaction mitigates the risk of subsequent contamination.

SHOE DISINFECTING DEVICE

A shoe disinfecting device is disclosed having a base which defines a central recess, a right side recess, and a left side recess. The central recess houses a central wiping which is held by a central frame. Side drying pads are also mounted within side recesses. A disinfecting liquid reservoir is removably mounted to the base. A manual liquid pump is coupled to the liquid reservoir and to nozzles positioned to direct a spray of liquid onto the central pad.

Container for cleaning and messy products
10660502 · 2020-05-26 · ·

Improved container for messy products which is made up of a framework (17) covered by a superposition (14) of membranes (15a to 15d), each of which is equipped with means of assembly by adhesion of at least part of at least one of the contact faces thereof to the contiguous membrane or membranes allowing said membranes to be separated by a peeling effect, said means of assembly consisting of a multitude of mechanical catching protuberances (16). The improvements made to this container relate on the one hand to the nature of the materials used for making the various components of this container and, on the other hand, to novel methods for obtaining some of said components.

Rotating door mat assembly

In described embodiments, a door mat assembly includes a base frame having a top surface. A first mat insert is removably attached to the base frame. The first mat insert has a first inner surface and a first outer surface. A second mat insert is removably attached to the base frame and hingedly connected to the first mat insert. The second mat insert has a second inner surface and a second outer surface. A first frame pivot assembly is rotatably inserted in the base frame and is adapted to allow the first mat insert and the second mat insert to rotate about the first frame pivot assembly.

SELECTIVELY PERMEABLE FLOOR MAT

A permeable mat provides a two-state mat; one in which the mat has an impervious layer when laid flat during use, so water gets captured by an upper fabric layer. And a second state in which the mat becomes permeable when it is rolled and tumbled in the washer and drier, to allow the through-flow of air and water to effectively clean and dry the mat. A pattern of permeable elements may be included as part of the rubber backing to improve washing and drying by allowing easier passage through the mat by water and washing chemicals, allowing water drainage through the rubber layer during spinning cycle, reducing the need for very high spinning forces and speeds, allowing for air flow through the mat layers, improving drying time and efficiencies and lowering the structure of the mat unit, thereby allowing for better unrolling and tumbling during washing cycles.

DUST SUCTIONING AIR MAT PROVIDED WITH AIR INFLOW VALVE
20200113411 · 2020-04-16 ·

A dust suctioning air mat with an air inflow valve includes: a main body composed of a bottom plate and a footboard installed on an upper part of the bottom plate, the bottom plate having a dust suction part formed therein to suck dust, and having an air inflow groove formed in one side thereof to communicate with the outside, and the footboard having suction holes through which dust can be sucked in formed therein; an air inflow valve which is installed in the air inflow groove of the bottom plate, allows the inflow of outside air, and can control the inflow amount of the air, and an elastic part which is installed inside the bottom plate and provides elastic force for opening and closing the suction holes.
