ANTI-FOGGING DEVICE FOR ENDOSCOPE
Anti-fogging system for an endoscope including an endoscope having an outer housing, an imaging arrangement, and a distal window. A filter lens is located at the distal window, with the filter lens allowing a first portion of electromagnetic light to pass therethrough while absorbing a second portion of electromagnetic light in order to heat the filter lens.
ARRANGEMENT FOR CLEANING AND DISINFECTION OF ENDOSCOPES
An arrangement, and associated method, for cleaning and disinfecting an endoscope having an internal channel accessible via an opening. The arrangement includes: a support structure; at least one tray including at least one fixture arranged to maintain the endoscope in the desired position within the tray; a rack arranged to support the tray; a control unit arranged to control and operate the arrangement; a user interface connected to the control unit and arranged to make it possible for an operator to indicate the type of endoscope arranged in the tray; an optical device connected to the control unit and configured to confirm the type of endoscope arranged in the tray; a robotic device operated by the control unit and arranged to clean the at least one channel in the endoscope arranged in the tray; and a disinfector device arranged to enclose the tray and disinfect the endoscope.
Robotically Assisted Surgical System and Related Devices and Methods
Disclosed herein are various robotic surgical systems having various robotic devices. Further, disclosed herein are removable coupleable connection ports, each of which can be coupled to a robotic device and a camera assembly that is disposed into and through the robotic device. Also disclosed herein are removable connection ports having at least one of a elongate device body coupling mechanism, a camera assembly coupling mechanism, and/or a presence detection mechanism. Further discussed herein is a camera assembly with at least one actuation mechanism for actuating movement of the steerable distal tip thereof.
Medical borescopes and related tip assemblies
Medical borescopes and related methods. In some embodiments, a medical borescope may comprise a handle and a tube extending from the handle. The tube may be partially, or wholly, defined by an at least substantially non-conductive material, such as a suitable plastic, ceramic, or other non-metallic material. The borescope may further comprise a tip assembly positioned at a distal end of the tube, which may comprise an image sensor configured to take images through the distal end of the tube.
Optical speculum
A system for direct imaging and diagnosing of abnormal cells in a target tissue includes a disposable optical speculum and an image acquisition system having the speculum assembled on and mechanically secured thereto. The image acquisition system is arranged to capture at least one of a single image or multiple images or video of cells within the target tissue using at least one of bright field or dark field ring illumination divided into independently operated segments to obtain a plurality of data sets. An image analysis and control unit in communication with the image acquisition system analyzes the data sets and applies algorithms to the data sets for diagnosing abnormal cells.
Server, client, communication system, communication method, and recording medium
A server has a communicator, a decision unit, and a communication control unit. In a case in which a first condition and a second condition are satisfied, the decision unit decides to cause a first client to stop data transmission. In a case in which the first condition and a third condition are satisfied, the decision unit decides to cause a second client to stand by for the data transmission. The first condition indicates that an access point to which the first client is being connected is the same as an access point to which the second client is being connected. The second condition indicates that a priority of the first client is lower than a priority of the second client. The third condition indicates that priority information has not been received from the second client.
METHOD FOR RECONDITIONING AN ENDOSCOPE IN A RECONDITIONING APPARATUS, AND RECONDITIONING APPARATUS
A method for reconditioning an endoscope in a reconditioning apparatus, the method including: connecting an interior of the endoscope to a leakage tester of the reconditioning apparatus; supplying the interior with a fluid at a predefined pressure; carrying out a reconditioning process using a rinsing liquid; monitoring the pressure in the interior of the endoscope during the reconditioning process; and identifying the endoscope as defective if a profile of the pressure deviates from a predefined pressure profile; wherein the predefined pressure profile is determined according to process parameters of the reconditioning process.
Endoscope system having various combinations of light sources
An endoscope system includes a video processor device that performs signal processing on an image, and an external device that is removably connected to the video processor device and can record light source correspondence information that corresponds to multiple light sources. The video processor device acquires light source correspondence information from the external device and performs signal processing that corresponds to the light source correspondence information.
Oral Endoscope
The present application relates to the technical field of oral care devices, and discloses an oral endoscope, the oral endoscope comprising: a housing; an image acquisition module, which is fixedly mounted within the housing and which is used for acquiring an external image through the housing, the image acquisition module comprising at least two camera units, which are relatively positionally calibrated and which are used for acquiring three-dimensional image information; an illuminating unit, which provides illumination for each camera unit; a wireless communications module, which is used for wirelessly communicating with an external device and for sending image information, which is acquired by the image acquisition module, to the external device. The oral endoscope may acquire three-dimensional images at various positions in an oral cavity; the oral endoscope need not scan various positions in the oral cavity according to a set sequential requirement, thus the operational requirements thereof are low, and the present invention may be used for self-serviced dentition molding by an ordinary user.
Method and apparatus for examining the light and/or image transmission properties of an endoscopic or exoscopic system
A method for examining the light and/or image transmission properties of an endoscopic or exoscopic system having the components endoscope or exoscope, light carrier, light source and camera, wherein at least the endoscope or exoscope is taken from a first supply quantity of endoscopes or exoscopes and/or at least the light carrier is taken from a second supply quantity of light carriers, wherein the endoscope or exoscope is provided with an identifier and/or the light carrier is provided with an identifier, wherein the identifier or the identifiers contain/s identification data that individualizes the respective endoscope or exoscope and/or the respective light carrier, wherein the components are connected to each other so as to be ready for operation in the form of a current component combination. The method comprises the steps of: capturing the identification data of the endoscope or exoscope and/or the light carrier, capturing at least one transmission parameter of the current component combination, storing the identification data and the captured at least one transmission parameter. Also described is an apparatus for carrying out the method.
