Pediatric nasal endoscope, gastroscope and aerodigestive scope
TNE provides the opportunity to make the care of children with EoE and other gastrointestinal or aerodigestive conditions safer, more efficient, and less costly while simultaneously advancing our understanding of the pathophysiology and natural course of this condition. A pediatric endoscope was developed to facilitate TNE in children with EoE. The pediatric endoscope (combined gastroscope, bronchoscope, laryngoscope) includes a 3-4 mm flexible, fiber optic endoscope that allows HD TV viewing with the head of a pediatric bronchoscope that allows four way tip deflection, a scope stiffening apparatus to minimize the endoscopes flexibility when needed, a foot and hand activation to allow air/water insufflation and image/video capture, a light source, 2 mm biopsy channel.
Laryngoscope with blade locking mechanism
A laryngoscope assembly having a handle for connection with a laryngoscope blade and wherein the handle includes an additional mechanism for securing the blade to the handle. A locking mechanism is a spring provided for holding the blade in position on the handle and preventing side to side movement of the blade with respect to the handle.
ENDOSCOPE AND HANDLE OPERATION UNIT
An endoscope includes a handle operation unit. The handle operation unit includes: an outer ring; a cam ring accommodated in the outer ring to rotate in accordance with rotation of the outer ring about a central axis and having a pair of guide holes; a pair of slide members accommodated in the respective guide holes and fixed to a force transmission member; and a support portion having a pair of slide grooves extending along a longitudinal direction of the endoscope, the support portion being accommodated in the cam ring to support the pair of slide members. The slide members slide in the respective slide grooves in accordance with the rotation of the outer ring. The field of view of the image-capturing unit is changed in accordance with sliding of the pair of slide members.
Endoscopic devices and related methods
An endoscopic device includes a single-use cannula configured for insertion through a cervix into a uterus, a camera secured to a distal end region of the single-use cannula for acquiring images of the uterus, a connection hub secured to a proximal end region of the cannula, a reusable display configured to present the images acquired by the camera and that is securable to the connection hub, and a handle secured to the connection hub. The handle is pivotable between a first position in which the handle is stowed along the connection hub and arranged to prevent attachment of the reusable display to the connection hub and a second position in which the handle is deployed to an orientation that is antiparallel to the connection hub and arranged to permit attachment of the reusable display to the connection hub.
IMAGE ROTATION IN AN ENDOSCOPIC HYPERSPECTRAL, FLUORESCENCE, AND LASER MAPPING IMAGING SYSTEM
Image rotation in an endoscopic hyperspectral, fluorescence, and/or laser mapping imaging system is described. A system includes an emitter for emitting pulses of electromagnetic radiation and an image sensor comprising a pixel array for sensing reflected electromagnetic radiation. The system includes a rotation sensor for detecting an angle of rotation of a lumen relative to a handpiece of an endoscope. The system is such that at least a portion of the pulses of electromagnetic radiation emitted by the emitter comprises one or more of a hyperspectral emission, a fluorescence emission, and/or a laser mapping pattern.
Endoscope
An optical prism is designed to displace a field of view offset angle of an endoscope. A connector is designed to affix the optical prism to a tip of an endoscope that has a field of view at an initial offset angle displaced off-axis. The optical prism and connector are designed to reduce the offset angle of the field of view of the endoscope toward on-axis. Delivery packaging for an endoscope has a vial, well, or cavity designed to retain anti-adhesive lubricant in contact with a lens or window of the endoscope.
VAGINAL EXAMINATION DEVICE AND METHODS OF USE THEREOF
A vaginal examination device includes a hollow cylindrical body having a distal end and a proximal end, wherein the hollow body is partitioned into two or more channels; one or more inner channels, wherein the inner channels allow insertion and removal of examination modules; one or more extendable blades, wherein the blades are attached to the distal end of the body; one or more levers at the proximal end of the body configured to actuate the one or more extendable blades; and one or more handles at the proximal end of the body. Also provided are methods of self-performing pelvic examination using a vaginal examination device.
ENDOSCOPE AND METHOD OF USE
Disclosed herein are endoscope assemblies, and more particularly endoscopes with a working channel for use in hysteroscopy, and methods of use thereof. Devices and systems related to an integrated hysteroscopic treatment system including an endoscopic viewing system, a fluid management system, a resecting device and a controller for operating all the systems. Also disclosed are integrated hysteroscopic treatment systems that include an endoscopic viewing system, a fluid management system, a resecting device and a controller for operating all the systems.
Endoscope system and endoscope
An endoscope system includes a mother endoscope, a baby endoscope and a fixing member. The mother endoscope includes a first insertion section, a first operation section, a treatment instrument insertion channel and an opening. The baby endoscope includes a second insertion section and a second operation section. The first operation section includes a projection portion. The second operation section includes a recess portion that is a recessed face formed such that at least part of the recessed face comes into face contact with a surface of the projection portion. The second operation section is fixed to the first operation section in a state where the recess portion is in contact with the surface of the projection portion.
ENDOSCOPE
There is provided an endoscope for use in intubation. The endoscope comprises a housing, a display device having a display screen, and an operative member extending from the housing, the operative member being configured to be inserted into a patients airway and to transmit images to the display screen. The housing comprises an actuator coupled to the operative member and a retainer coupled to the display screen, the housing having a handle portion comprising at least the actuator, and the actuator being single-handedly rotatable by a user relative to the retainer, such that the operative member is rotatable relative to the display screen.
