METHOD AND DEVICE FOR IMAGE GUIDED POST-NASAL NERVE ABLATION
Devices and methods for treating rhinitis are provided. An integrated therapy and imaging device is provided for single handheld use. The device may have a hollow elongated cannula, a therapeutic element coupled to a distal portion of the cannula, an imaging assembly coupled to the cannula to provide visualization of the therapeutic element, and an articulating region operably coupled to the imaging assembly to articulate the imaging assembly. The imaging assembly may be articulated so as to translate vertically, laterally, axially, and/or rotationally.
ENDOSCOPE HANDPIECE
An endoscope handpiece and system may include an angle of view selector, a depressible button, which may be connected to a lock disposed within a port of the endoscopic handpiece. The system may further provide an endoscope, which may be connected to the handpiece via the port and locked in place by the lock.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR MODULAR ENDOSCOPE
An articulating flexible endoscope is provided. The endoscope comprises: a distal tip portion that is steerable via a driving mechanism; a bending section connected to the distal tip portion at a first end, and connected to a shaft portion at a transition interface, the bending section is articulated by one or more pull wires; and the shaft portion comprising one or more load transmission tubes for reducing at least a portion of the articulation force applied to the bending section by the one or more pull wires thereby improving stability of the shaft portion, the one or more load transmission tubes are anchored to the transition interface and have a length greater than the length of the shaft portion.
Visual inspection device
A visual inspection device includes a housing, a handle coupled to the housing that is grasped by a user while the device is in use, an articulating camera unit coupled to the housing, and a display unit coupled to the housing to display an image transmitted by the articulating camera unit.
ENDOSCOPE
An endoscope includes a control body, an insertion tube, a bending section, and an angulation drive assembly. The control body includes a first body and a second body. The first body includes a first stepped interface having a first upper surface, a second upper surface, and a first intermediate surface. The second body is coupled to the first body and includes a second stepped interface having a first lower surface, a second lower surface, and a second intermediate surface. The bending section is secured to the insertion tube. The angulation drive assembly is coupled to the bending section and is operable to articulate the bending section. When the first body and the second body are connected to each other, the first lower surface abuts against the first upper surface, the second lower surface abuts against the second upper surface, and the first intermediate surface abuts against the second intermediate surface.
MEASUREMENT PROBE AND BIO-OPTICAL MEASUREMENT SYSTEM
A measurement probe is configured to be detachably connected to a bio-optical measurement apparatus and includes: an illuminating fiber configured to irradiate body tissues with illumination light; light receiving fibers configured to receive return light of the illumination light reflected and/or scattered from the body tissues; an optical element configured to transmit the illumination light and the return light and to keep distances between the body tissues and distal ends of the illuminating fiber and the light receiving fibers, constant; and a contact detecting fiber configured to receive the return light to detect contact between a distal end face of the optical element and the body tissues, and detect the return light at a detection region on the distal end face through which the illumination light and the return light pass. The detection region is located outside an illumination region of the illuminating fiber.
Image type laryngoscope apparatus
An image type laryngoscope apparatus includes a laryngoscope (3), a fastening device (1) and an image device (2). The image device is attached to the laryngoscope by the fastening device, and the signal transmitting unit (21) of the image device transmits image signals to a monitor (24) in a wire transmission manner or to a mobile device (4) in a wireless transmission manner, so that the operator can clearly inspect the present condition of a patient's throat by the image signals.
MEDICAL BORESCOPES AND RELATED TIP ASSEMBLIES
Medical borescopes, such as laparoscopes. In some embodiments, a medical borescope may comprise a handle and a tube extending from the handle, which tube may be configured to reduce electromagnetic interference within the tube. The borescope may further comprise a tip assembly positioned at a distal end of the tube, which may comprise an image sensor configured to take images through the distal end of the tube. The borescope may further comprise a dongle comprising an image processor configured to receive image data from the image sensor. The dongle may be removably coupleable with the medical borescope such that the dongle can be coupled with a plurality of distinct medical borescopes.
Medical device illuminator and charging system
A portable medical illuminator is configured for attachment to a medical device wherein the illuminator includes an illuminator housing and a light source disposed in relation to the housing. A portable rechargeable power supply is connected to the light source, and an inductive charging coil is disposed within the illuminator housing to enable contactless charging of the contained portable power supply.
ENDOSCOPE SYSTEM
An endoscope system includes: an insertion portion inserted into a subject; a first image acquisition section provided on the insertion portion and configured to acquire a first image from a first region of an object; a second image acquisition section provided on the insertion portion and configured to acquire a second image from a second region of the object including a region adjacent to the first region; and an image processing section configured to execute image processing by setting a first display region and a second display region adjacent to the first display region in a display section configured to display an image, disposing the first image in a first display region, disposing part of the second image in the first display region adjacent to the first image, and disposing remaining part of the second image in a second display region.
