An endoscope system is provided. The endoscope system includes an insert tube and a handle. The insert tube includes a first connector, a first controller, a first parameter and an insert-tube data. The first parameter and the insert-tube data are corresponding to each other. The handle includes a second connector and a second controller. The second connector electronically connects to the first connector, and the second controller receives and accords to the first parameter to generate at least one first control signal to the first controller to control the insert tube.

MODULAR MEDICAL DEVICES AND METHODS OF USING THE SAME

A medical device that includes a first body including a first actuation wire having a first connector that extends outwardly from the first body, and a second body including a second actuation wire having a second connector that is disposed within the second body. The first connector is configured to engage the second connector in response to the second body mating with the first body, and to deform the second connector in response to the first body disengaging the second body.

Disposable air/water valve for an endoscope

A disposable air/water valve may include a main stem providing an air passage through the center bore of the main stem. A method for manufacturing a disposable air/water valve may include several steps. The main stem is molded, and placed in a mold for over-molding seals onto the main stem. Prior to the next steps, the retaining ring, button cap, and boot may be molded. The back end of the main step is placed through the center of the retaining ring and resilient member (e.g., spring). The button cap is then placed on and secured to the main stem.

The present invention is aimed to design an improved lighting assembly for camera module of an endoscope. The camera module is received in a cylinder body, which is connected with the tail end of the tube of the endoscope. The character of this invention is to provide a secondary lighting apparatus between the cylinder body and the tube. The secondary lighting apparatus includes several LEDs being mounted inside annular-arrayed and covered by a transparent ring. The annular-arrayed LEDs can emit light through the transparent ring with 360 degrees lighting outwards that provides a perfect lighting effect for capturing the inner images of patients and will facilitate the judgement of users or doctors.

The present invention relates to an improved lighting assembly for camera module of an endoscope. The camera module is received in a cylinder body, which is connected with the tail end of a tube of the endoscope. The cylinder body is provided with two side openings covered by related transparent caps. Several lighting sources are mounted in the cylinder body at the position near the side openings that emits side lightings to increase whole lighting effect in the working cavity and facilitates to obtain clear image captured from camera module. Moreover, the front cover is provided with an annular misty portion related to the position above the front lighting sources around the camera module. Hence, the forward emitting lighting will be foggy that can thus avoid from the reflected lighting spots and benefit the use of the present endoscope to catch clear images of patient's inner cavity.
