Biopsy cap and biopsy cap housing
The present disclosure relates generally to the field of medical instruments. In particular, the present disclosure relates to a biopsy cap and endoscope biopsy cap housing with improved stability and stress distribution to securely and removably attach to an endoscope biopsy port. In one example, a biopsy cap housing may include a first center-split half comprising a first half of an upper and lower chamber and first pivot member, and a second center-split half comprising a second half of an upper and lower chamber, and second pivot member, wherein mating surfaces of the first and second center-split halves may be configured to interlock to define the upper and lower chambers.
Lens unit
The present invention provides a lens unit having a cover member which does not cause deviation in precision and capable of being manufactured efficiently at low cost. In a lens unit 10A, side surfaces of a cover member 14a continuing from a front end surface 29 to a rear end surface located at a lens side are formed in a regular quadrangular prism, at least two of corners of the regular quadrangular prism are in contact with an inner peripheral surface 27 of a housing space 17 of a holder 11a for housing the cover member 14a, a gap 34 is formed between each of the side surfaces of the cover member 14a and the inner peripheral surface 27 of the holder 11a, and an effective area of a light beam is located inside a light receiving area having a regular quadrangular shape surrounded by an outer peripheral edge of the front end surface 29 of the cover member 14a.
Method of forming and incorporating a polymeric lens within a lens housing
A method for forming a lens housing containing a polymeric lens including inserting a mandrel having a distal face with negative features of the desired polymeric lens into a cylinder and filling a reservoir formed between the distal face and a distal end of the cylinder with a curable polymeric lens material. The curable polymeric lens material is cured in place within the reservoir thereby forming the desired polymeric lens. The proximal surface of the polymeric lens is formed and shaped by the distal face of the mandrel, while the distal surface of the polymeric lens is dependent upon the amount of the curable polymeric lens material placed in the reservoir and the volume of the reservoir.
OPTICAL IMAGING SYSTEM
Provided herein are imaging systems for a patient including an imaging probe and an imaging assembly. The imaging probe includes: an elongate shaft with a proximal end, a distal portion, and a lumen extending between the proximal end and the distal portion; a rotatable optical core with a proximal end and a distal end, and at least a portion of the rotatable optical core is positioned within the lumen of the elongate shaft; and an optical assembly positioned proximate the distal end of the rotatable optical core, the optical assembly configured to direct light to tissue to be imaged and collect reflected light from the tissue to be imaged. The imaging assembly is constructed and arranged to optically couple to the imaging probe. The imaging assembly is configured to emit light into the imaging probe and receive the reflected light collected by the optical assembly.
Endoscope and image pickup module
An endoscope includes an image pickup module, and the image pickup module includes: an image pickup device an external electrode being disposed on a back surface of the image pickup device; a wiring element provided with a through-hole passing through a first main surface and a second main surface, a first electrode on the first main surface being bonded with the external electrode; a signal cable bonded with a second electrode on the second main surface of the wiring element; and a first resin that seals a first bump bonding the first electrode and the external electrode and a second bump bonding the second electrode and the signal cable, and fills the through-hole.
