METHOD OF RECOVERING ACETONE AND A PLANT FOR RECOVERING THE SAME
In an embodiment, a method of recovering acetone comprises separating a bisphenol A stream into a bisphenol A product stream and an extraction stream comprising unreacted acetone; recovering the unreacted acetone in a recovery section of the bisphenol A production facility and forming a bisphenol A plant acetone recovery stream comprising methanol and a recovered acetone; introducing the bisphenol A plant acetone recovery stream to a phenol purification plant; and purifying the bisphenol A plant acetone recovery stream in the phenol purification plant to form an acetone product stream. The acetone product stream can comprise a reduced amount of methanol as compared to the bisphenol A plant acetone recovery stream.

DISTILLATION DEVICE
The present application relates to a distillation device, and according to the distillation device of the present application, in first and second compounds being capable of forming an azeotrope, by introducing the second compound having a relatively high boiling point into a supply port located below the first compound having a relatively low boiling point, the first compound can be previously separated from the top of a first distillation column and the content of the first compound in the flow discharged from the bottom of the first distillation column can be minimized, and thus, as a moving route of the first compound is minimized, the second compound can be separated in high purity.

METHOD OF EXTRACTING NUTRIENTS FROM A PLANT
A method of extracting nutrients from a plant includes the steps of: pulverizing a water soluble nutrient-based plant part of a first plant material of the plant so as to form a first pulverized plant part; pulverizing a lipid soluble nutrient-based plant part of a second plant material of the plant so as to form a second pulverized plant part; subjecting the first pulverized plant part to a distillation so as to obtain a distillate and a first residue that contains a water soluble nutrient; and immersing the second pulverized plant part in the distillate to form a first mixture followed by distillation of the first mixture, so as to obtain a second residue that contains a lipid soluble nutrient.

Recirculation and disposal of aqueous catalyst solutions in amine catalytic processes
The present invention relates to the oxidative combustion of amine-containing wastewaters, especially in a process for preparing methacrolein. Methacrolein is used in chemical synthesis particularly as an intermediate for preparation of methacrylic acid, methyl methacrylate, or else of active ingredients, odorants or flavorings. More particularly, the present invention relates to an oxidative combustion of the amine-containing wastewaters with only low nitrogen oxide formation.
