The invention discloses a percutaneous puncture and dilation visible irrigation-suction system and a method of using the same. The system comprises a main tube, which is contiguous with the sheath tube and has an end for an endoscope insertion. The sheath tube comprises an inner sheath and an outer sheath joined together in a sleeve type. There is a space between inner and outer sheath. The inner sheath is connected to main tube, together building a channel via which the endoscope is inserted and withdrawn. The sheath tube is connected to main tube after completing puncture and dilation, then endoscope system is introduced for observation and operation. The present invention provides a percutaneous puncture and dilation visible irrigation-suction system and a method of using the same, with a continuous controllable visible negative pressure aspirator, achieving high irrigation and powerful suction efficiency, as well as clear endoscopic view.

In various aspects, a microsurgical apparatus disclosed herein includes a shaft having a shaft distal end, a shaft proximal end with a handle mounted to shaft proximal end. The microsurgical apparatus includes a tool package having an actuator at a tool package proximal end of the tool package and a tool at a tool package distal end of the tool package. The actuator cooperates mechanically with the tool. A sleeve lumen disposed within the tool package slidably receives the shaft for releasable lockable engagement of the tool package proximal end with the handle and with the shaft distal end being generally coextensive with the tool package distal end. Light source(s) and image sensor(s) located proximate the shaft distal end allow viewing of the tool when the tool package is mounted to the shaft. Exemplary methods of use of the microsurgical apparatus are also disclosed herein.

METHODS AND APPARATUS FOR REMOVING MATERIAL FROM WITHIN A MAMMALIAN CAVITY USING AN INSERTABLE ENDOSCOPIC INSTRUMENT

An endoscope for removing tissue at a surgical site includes an elongated tubular body insertable within a mammalian cavity of a patient. An instrument channel extends between a first opening at a distal end and a second opening at a proximal end of the tubular body and is sized and configured to receive a surgical cutting assembly that includes an aspiration channel configured to remove material entering the endoscope via a distal end of the surgical cutting assembly. A torque generation component configured to generate torque is positioned within the distal end and configured to provide the generated torque to a coupling component. The coupling component is positioned at the distal end of the elongated tubular member and configured to actuate a cutting component of the surgical cutting assembly responsive to actuation of the torque generation component.
