The handle may include at least one connecting structure formed in an outer surface of the handle, the at least one connecting structure comprising a plurality of ridges. The at least one connecting structure may be configured to engage with an accessory connecting structure formed on an outer surface of an accessory device.
Endoscopic instrument and endoscopic instrument system
An endoscopic instrument according to the invention includes an elongate tube, which has an axially continuous and substantially cylindrical main lumen for receiving a shaft of an endoscope lens system, and a tool, which is arranged at a distal end of the tube and can be controlled via an elongate transmission element from a proximal end of the tube, wherein the tube has an axially continuous secondary lumen which adjoins the main lumen in a transverse direction, is connected to the main lumen via a narrowed transition area and receives the transmission element. The invention also relates to an endoscopic instrument system.
Camera positioning system, method, and apparatus for capturing images during a medical procedure
In some embodiments, a visualization device for a robotic surgery apparatus can include a housing configured to be removably attached to a mounting interface of the apparatus and be positioned adjacent an insertion device of the apparatus. The housing can include first and second openings positioned on an exterior of the housing. The housing can include a substantially flexible camera tube with a first end attached to the housing and a second end including at least one camera. The second end can be inserted through the first opening in the housing, pass through interior of the housing, and exit the housing through the second opening in the housing. The second end can extend away from the housing toward a region of interest outside the housing or retract away from the region of interest and back toward the housing. The camera tube can form a loop around a portion of the housing.
Endoscope
An endoscope includes an insertion section configured to be inserted into a subject, an operation section configured to be consecutively provided on a proximal end side of the insertion section, a rigid partition wall provided inside the insertion section or inside the operation section and configured to maintain watertightness between a first space including an inside of the insertion section and a second space formed on a distal end side of the first space, and a first check valve provided in the partition wall and configured to block circulation of gas from the second space to the first space and circulate gas from the first space to the second space.
ENDOSCOPE ADAPTOR, ROBOTIC SURGICAL SYSTEM, METHOD OF ADJUSTING ROTATIONAL POSITION USING ENDOSCOPE ADAPTOR
An endoscope adaptor according to an embodiment may include a base portion including a transmission mechanism configured to decelerate and transmit rotation of a driven member configured to be driven to rotate by a drive part of a robot arm to an endoscope holder. The transmission mechanism includes a drive transmission shaft that is configured to be rotated by the rotation of the driven member, a first linkage member that is configured to rotate integrally with the drive transmission shaft, and a second linkage member being rotatable with respect to the drive transmission shaft and configured to rotate with first linkage member in a linked manner. The base portion includes a stopper configured to come in contact with the second linkage member to stop rotation of the drive transmission shaft.
Serialization of single-use endoscopes
A system comprised of a controller; an endoscope comprised of a shaft, an image sensor, and a connector; and a target for viewing by the image sensor of the endoscope. The target includes one or more calibration objects. The controller is configured to receive image data indicative of the calibration objects from the image sensor, compare the image data with one or more predetermined thresholds, and calibrate one or more image sensor settings when the image data fails to meet the one or more predetermined thresholds.
Bronchoscopy coupling devices
Provided in accordance with aspects of the present disclosure is a coupling device configured to receive first and second devices. The coupling device may define a first passageway having an inner surface with a first coefficient of friction and defining a first axis. The coupling device may define a second passageway having an inner surface with a second coefficient of friction and defining a second axis, wherein at least a portion of the second axis is at an angle relative to the first axis.
DEVICE FOR ANTI-FOG ENDOSCOPE SYSTEM
A device for maintaining an optical path of an optical imaging system free of fog includes an elongated member having a distal end and a proximal end, a near-infrared (NIR) light-absorbing optical window disposed at the distal end, and an optical system disposed along the optical path. The device also includes a coupling module coupled to the elongated member at the proximal end and configured to transmit near-infrared light to the NIR light-absorbing optical window along the optical path and receive a light beam from an area of interest along the optical path.
Device of anti-fogging endoscope system
This disclosure relates to the minimally invasive medical technical field, and specifically, to a device of anti-fogging endoscope system including a beam of a near-infrared light for anti-fogging, which is coupled into an endoscope imaging optical channel in combination coaxially and is transmitted to the front optical window sheet, the visible light passes through the front optical window sheet, and the near-infrared light is absorbed by the absorption characteristics of the front optical window sheet to raise the temperature of the front optical window sheet. The device is also provided with a cut filter for eliminating the impact on image quality caused by the near-infrared stray light, so that the illumination light source of the prior-art endoscope is not necessary to be changed. It is suitable to integrate the coaxial coupling module with a camera handle or adapter and is more convenient to operate the device.
ENDOSCOPE ATTACHMENT AND ENDOSCOPE SYSTEM
An endoscope attachment is an endoscope attachment that is detachably attachable to a distal end portion part of an insertion portion of an endoscope, and includes a cylindrical member that covers a bonding portion that is arranged in a bending portion of the insertion portion and formed of adhesive, and a flow rate varying member that is disposed in the cylindrical member and varies a flow rate of a medicinal solution that enters from an outside of the cylindrical member to an inside of the cylindrical member.
