SURGICAL INSTRUMENT COMPRISING A CONTROL CIRCUIT
A surgical instrument is disclosed comprising a housing and a control circuit mounted to and/or embedded in the housing.
Endoscope and case body
An endoscope includes: a second exterior member formed by resin molding; a through hole formed in the second exterior member and having a center axis; an operating member disposed in the through hole, the operating member having a moving member configured to move along a predetermined axis; and a connecting member being fixedly mounted in the though hole, the connecting member being disposed so as to make the predetermined axis of the operating member intersect with the center axis of the though hole at a preliminarily set angle.
STEERABLE MEDICAL DEVICE HAVING AN IMAGING SYSTEM
Embodiments of the disclosure may include a medical device comprising an elongate member and a handle assembly connected to the elongate member. The handle housing may house a steering mechanism movable relative to the handle assembly and configured to steer the elongate member along a first plane and a second plane different from the first plane, a camera system configured to capture images from a distal end of the elongate member, and an illumination system configured to provide illuminating light from the distal end of the elongate member.
MULTIFUNCTIONAL VISUALIZATION INSTRUMENT
A multifunctional visualization instrument is provided that, in certain embodiments, includes a body having a proximal end and a distal end. The multifunctional visualization instrument includes a display screen on the body and a camera stick at the distal end of the body and comprising an arm and a camera. The arm of the camera stick is sized to fit within a channel of a removable laryngoscope blade. The multifunctional visualization instrument includes a port on a surface of the laryngoscope, configured to mate with an introducer and a steering input for steering the introducer, displayed on the display screen simultaneously with an image of the patient captured by the camera.
ENDOSCOPE WITH LOW-PROFILE DISTAL SECTION
An endoscope can comprise a proximal section, an insertion section extending longitudinally from the proximal section and comprising an elongate tubular body disposed along an insertion section longitudinal axis and a lumen extending through the elongate tubular body, and a distal section extending from the insertion section and comprising an elevator portion comprising an elevator configured to position and orient one or more endotherapy tools extending from the lumen, and a camera module comprising an illumination unit and an imaging unit. The camera module can be positioned longitudinally spaced apart from the elevator portion in an in-line configuration, such that the insertion tube longitudinal axis passes through the elevator portion and the camera module. The camera module can be user-detachable from the elevator portion. The camera module can be cleaned and sanitized for reuse and the insertion section can be disposable.
ONE-PIECE ELEVATOR FOR A DUODENOSCOPE
An elevator for an endoscope comprises a first end secured to the endoscope, a second end movable by an actuator, a flexible portion positioned between the first and second ends that is rotatable when the second end is moved by the actuator, and a guide portion extending between the flexible portion and the second end to receive an endotherapy instrument extending from the endoscope, the guide portion comprising a chute to guide the endotherapy instrument leaving the endoscope. A method of forming an elevator comprises forming from a planar sheet of material an elongate body comprising a length between first and second ends, a width, and a thickness, forming a guide body in the elongate body, bending the elongate body such that first and second lengths of the elongate body oppose each other to form an interior space, and bending the guide body to extend into the interior space.
A SURGICAL INSTRUMENT FOR PERFORMING AN ENDOSCOPY OR A LAPAROSCOPY
The present invention is to provide a surgical instrument 200 for performing an endoscopy or a laparoscopy. The surgical instrument 200 includes an adaptive element 100 capable of holding eyepiece of an endoscope 210 and a laparoscope 220. The adaptive element 100 is arranged on a camera head cover of the surgical instrument 200. Further, the adaptive element 100 is a holder having a cavity 110 which allows the eyepieces to fit positively therewithin.
