Adjustable Laryngoscope System and Method of Use
A laryngoscope system that consists of a blade assembly and a handle assembly. The blade assembly has a blade body with multiple handle attachment points. The handle can attach to any of the handle attachment points using a standard ISO 7376 connection. By attaching the handle to different handle attachment points the functional length of the laryngoscope blade can be adjusted. The handle that attaches to the blade body can contain an internal lighting unit. If so, the blade body contains optical elements at the handle attachment points that direct light from the handle to a forward facing output. If the handle does not hold a light, a lighting unit can be added to the blade body.
DEVICES AND METHODS FOR EXTENDING A WORKING CHANNEL
The present disclosure relates to the field of medical devices. Specifically, the present disclosure relates to devices, systems and methods for extending a working channel of an endoscope, such as for delivery of a stent.
Endoscope Instrumentation Drive System
An instrument drive system configured to attach to an instrument channel of an endoscope assembly and manage a relative feed position of an instrument using two drive wheels and a device application in a controller. The instrument drive system is attached directly to the instrument channel of the endoscope assembly. operation of the instrument drive system is proximate to the endoscope assembly and an inputs-controls and a deflection control thereof.
Endoscope system and method of operating same
An endoscope system includes at least any one of a processor device that is attachable to and detachable from an endoscope or a light source device that is attachable to and detachable from the endoscope. In a case where the endoscope is mounted on the processor device or the light source device, the processor device or the light source device performs a request sequence in which a request signal, for requesting a start of execution of encoding processing with respect to digital image signals, is transmitted to the endoscope.
Connector apparatus and endoscope apparatus provided with connector apparatus
A connector apparatus of the present invention includes a receptacle into which a plug is inserted, a moving member configured to move in conjunction with insertion of the plug, and a sensor provided below the receptacle and configured to detect presence or absence of the plug in the receptacle, in which the moving member includes a first portion extending downward, a second portion, one end of which is connected to the first portion and another end of which is located above the one end, and a third portion, one end of which is connected to the second portion and configured to move in conjunction with the insertion of the plug to thereby switch between a first state in which the plug is disposed in a predetermined region and a second state in which the plug is not disposed in the predetermined region.
Positioning system
A positioning system comprising a first working element having a first tubular shaft, a second working element having a second tubular shaft, an arcuate element having a holding element and an arcuate rail, wherein the arcuate rail is disposed on the holding element and the holding element is adapted to be fixed on the receiving section by means of a fastening element, and a guiding element having a holding section and a guiding section, wherein the holding section is guided on the rail and the guiding section receives the second shaft, the holding section having a locking element securing the guiding element to the rail, wherein the locking element in a locking position blocks displacement of the holding section in a transverse direction and in a release position allows displacement of the holding section in the transverse direction.
Video endoscope and method for configuring a video endoscope
A video endoscope, in particular a video mediastinoscope, comprises an elongate rigid shaft and a handle detachably attached to a proximal end section of the shaft, wherein the shaft comprises an optics shaft comprising an imaging optics and an electronic image sensor, wherein the optics shaft and a plug connector housing arranged at a proximal end of the optics shaft form a hermetically sealed unit enclosing the imaging optics and the image sensor, and wherein the handle comprises a handle housing in which an electronics unit is accommodated, wherein the electronics unit is hermetically sealed. The invention also relates to a method for configuring a video endoscope.
Detachable endoscope
A detachable endoscope includes an insertion unit including an illuminating and image pickup unit, an operation unit configured to bendingly operate a front end of the insertion unit, and a detachable unit configured to detachably couple the insertion unit and the operation unit to each other, wherein the detachable unit comprises: a first detachable module disposed at the insertion unit in such a manner as to be connected to respective one ends of first and second operating wire and third and fourth operating wires juxtaposedly arranged in the insertion unit; and a second detachable module disposed at the operation unit in such a manner as to be connected to respective both ends of upper and lower chains wound around upper and lower sprockets of the operation unit.
DETACHABLE ENDOSCOPE SHAFT
Some implementations of the disclosure are directed to detachable endoscope shafts assemblies including detachable endoscope shafts. In one implementation, an endoscope assembly comprises: an endoscope housing comprising a distal connector including first circuitry configured to receive one or more image signals or supply power from the endoscope housing; and a detachable endoscope shaft comprising: a distal segment configured to be inserted in a patient cavity; an attachment segment proximal to the distal segment, the attachment segment configured to be removably coupled to an instrument or adapter; and a proximal connector configured to removably and electrically couple to the distal connector, the proximal connector including second circuitry configured to electrically couple to the first circuitry.
Expanding endoscope and method
An endoscope having a camera and a tubular enclosure. A distal end of the camera may be movable from a first position in line with a longitudinal axis of the tubular enclosure to a second position lateral of the longitudinal axis of the tubular enclosure. Some embodiments are configured such that no portion of the endoscope obstructs a view from the distal end of the camera as the distal end of the camera is moved from the first position to the second position.
