SINGLE-PIECE HYSTEROSCOPIC INSTRUMENT OPERATION PROPELLER
The present application disclosed a single-piece hysteroscope instrument operation propeller, which includes a propelling body that can be attached to the hysteroscope body, the instrument can smoothly pass through the blind areas such as the vagina and cervical canal along the hysteroscope body that has already entered with the help of the groove on the propelling body, and can be operated continuously and flexibly after being sent into the uterus. The present application is beneficial for doctors to quickly, accurately and non-invasively send the treatment instrument into the uterus, which not only reduces the treatment cost, but also achieves a good treatment effect.
ENDOSCOPE WITH KEYED ORIENTATION FEATURE
Disclosed herein is a medical device including a camera including a movable member including an outer surface with a longitudinally-extending cross-sectional geometry configured to complement a longitudinally-extending cross-sectional geometry of a surface of a lumen in an elongate tube housing the movable member so as to prevent rotation of the movable member relative to the elongate tube. The device allows the operator to maintain visual orientation as the movable member is translated proximally and distally relative to the elongate tube.
Multifunctional enclosure for medical probes
A multifunctional enclosure is described having an elongated sleeve configured with an enlarged opening for the insertion of an elongated member of a medical probe. The multifunctional enclosure is configured to prevent the elongated member of the medical probe from swinging and becoming damaged during transport. The multifunctional enclosure may further comprise an attachment component for securing the medical probe to the multifunctional enclosure. Furthermore, at least one vent may be configured onto the multifunctional enclosure, such as on a first end closure portion. The vent may allow for adequate flow for sterilization and/or drying.
Endoscopic dilator
A dilator releasably connected with an endoscope to dilate a stricture as the dilator that is releasably connected to a portion of a cylindrical body of the endoscope passes through the stricture. The endoscopic dilator is moveable between an open position and a closed position configured to enable the dilator to be secured to the endoscope. When the dilator is in the closed position, an inner surface or a component on the inner surface of the dilator frictionally secures dilator to the portion of the cylindrical body of the endoscope. When in the open position, the dilator is not frictionally secured to the portion of the cylindrical body of the endoscope.
DEVICES, SYSTEMS, AND RELATED METHODS FOR VISUAL GUIDANCE OF TRANSESOPHAGEAL ECHOCARDIOGRAPHY PROBES
The present disclosure is directed to a device, system, and related methods for providing visual assistance to the placement of an endoscopic device acts as a cover for protecting both the probe and tube body of an endoscopic device form bacterial biofilm build-up during use. The device comprises a flexible sleeve, the sleeve being at least partially elastic, which is fitted over and encloses the tip of an endoscopic device such as a TEE probe, with the only opening in the sleeve tip being placed to expose the sensor apparatus of the probe. The tip of the sleeve comprises an image capture device which is coupled, via a wired connection that runs through the sleeve, to a control unit having a transceiver, such that captured image data can be transmitted to external devices, or an integrated display device, in real-time, without the transmission being obstructed by the patient’s body. The design of the sleeve also allows it to be used as a conduit for various other transmissions such as fluid and fibre optics.
OVER THE SCOPE CLIP WITH REPOSITIONAL CAPABILITY
A clipping system includes a cap configured to be mounted over a distal end of an endoscope. A clip mountable over the cap to move between an insertion configuration, in which first and second jaws extend over opposing portions of the cap so that the first and second jaws are separated from one another, a review configuration, in which the clip is moved distally relative to the cap so that a portion of the clip extends distally until at least a portion of the clip extends into a field of view of the optical system of an endoscope on which the cap is mounted, and a deployed configuration in which the clip is moved distally off of the clip so that the first and second jaws are drawn toward one another under the bias of the at least one hinge to close over tissue received therebetween.
APPLICATOR FOR A SPECULUM ACCESSORY SLEEVE AND USE THEREOF
An applicator for positioning a sleeve accessory on a medical speculum, and a method for using the applicator, is provided. The applicator has a flat, oblong shape with a distal end and a proximal end, the proximal end being broader than the distal end. The distal end of the applicator includes a first prong and a second prong. At least a portion of the distal end of the applicator is configured to slide into a lumen of a sleeve accessory to facilitate positioning of the sleeve accessory on a medical speculum.
Multi-functional ENT tool
An ENT tool has a tool chassis having a chassis channel and a tool chassis distal end. A tubular probe is dimensioned to be inserted into a human patient orifice, the probe is rotatable about a probe axis of symmetry, and the probe has a probe proximal end rotatingly connected to the tool chassis distal end. A balloon insertion mechanism is slidingly located within the chassis channel, and is configured to fixedly accept a balloon sinuplasty mechanism penetrating the tubular probe. A guidewire adjustment section is fixedly attached to the balloon insertion mechanism, and the section has a rotatable enclosure. A plurality of rollers are disposed within the enclosure and are configured so that on rotation of the enclosure the rollers grip and rotate a guidewire positioned between the rollers, and, absent rotation of the enclosure, release the guidewire and permit distal and proximal translation of the guidewire.
ATTACHMENT CLAMP
Various apparatuses to attach a first medical device to a second medical device are described that allow the physician to grasp only a single device while the other device remains securely attached to the one being grasped. The apparatuses, once they are attached to the first medical device, are designed to be easily and quickly attached and detached to a second medical device, normally only requiring the use of one hand. Furthermore, the apparatuses oftentimes include a base that can easily couple and decouple from the portion that is attached to the second medical device so that if the need arises to separately use the second medical device, it can be decoupled from the first medical device without completely removing the apparatus from the second medical device.
Sterile sheath for confocal endomicroscopy scanner probe
A sterile sheath and methods for enclosing a confocal endomicroscopy (CEM) scanner probe with the sterile sheath are provided. The scanner probe includes a probe shaft, a probe tip, a probe body, and a probe umbilical. The sterile sheath for enclosing the CEM scanner probe includes a sheath tube configured to receive the probe shaft and has a distal tube end, a proximal tube end, a sheath tip mounted at the distal tube end of the sheath tube, and a sheath socket configured to receive the probe body. The sheath socket has a distal socket end and a proximal socket end. The proximal tube end of the sheath tube is fixed to the sheath socket at the distal socket end. The sterile sheath further includes a sheath lock ring and a sheath drape mounted on the sheath socket at the proximal socket end with the sheath lock ring.
