SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR DRAPING A MEDICAL DEVICE
A drape for a medical device, the drape including a flexible drape material for covering at least a portion of a medical device and configured to be cinched in at least one location to form an enclosed space for enclosing the at least a portion of the medical device, and a vacuum manifold that, when the flexible drape material is cinched, is positioned at least partially within the enclosed space for creating a vacuum in the enclosed space to cause the flexible drape material to conform to the at least a portion of the medical device when the at least a portion of the medical device is positioned within the enclosed space.
Devices and methods for guiding instruments
The present disclosure relates generally to the field of medical devices. In particular, the present disclosure relates to devices and methods to guide delivery devices and instruments. Exemplary instrument guides, including for endoscopes as delivery devices for cryogen delivery catheters and to guide cryogen decompression tubes as instruments, and methods for use of such instrument guides for use in body lumens at treatment sites, are disclosed.
ENDOSCOPE DEVICE
Provided is an endoscope device capable of enhancing mechanical strength and durability against various operations and attachment to and detachment from a hanger in the endoscope device in which an endoscope can be suspended on the hanger. This endoscope device includes: an insertion portion; an operation unit that has a joint section configured to be suspendable from a hanger and is connected to the hanger through the joint section; a treatment tool channel that is arranged inside the joint section and the operation unit and allows passage of a treatment tool; a plate fixed to the operation unit; and a frame that is provided inside the joint section, includes a plurality of partition structural members coupled to each other and having a longitudinal direction along an arrangement direction of the treatment tool channel, and is fixed to the plate.
TENDON-SHEATH DRIVING APPARATUS, SURGICAL MEMBER DRIVING APPARATUS, AND METHOD OF OPERATING THE SAME
Disclosed is a surgical member driving apparatus. According to an embodiment of the disclosure, a surgical member driving apparatus for operating a surgical member detachably mounted to an endoscope includes a cartridge module including a base unit fastened to one end portion of the endoscope and coupling with the surgical member at one side, a wire including a first end portion coupled to the base unit and transmitting driving force to the base unit, and a cartridge provided with a power transmitter coupled to a second end portion of the wire; and a driving module including an accommodating portion to which the cartridge is detachably coupled, and providing the driving force to the wire of the cartridge module coupled to the accommodating portion.
REPOSITIONABLE OVER THE SCOPE CLIP
A clipping system includes an adapter configured to be mounted over an insertion device and a clip including first and second jaws movable between an insertion configuration and an initial deployed configuration. A first extending member is releasably coupled to the clip and movably connected to the adapter to permit a movement of the clip relative to the adapter from the insertion configuration to the initial deployed configuration. The first extending member is configured to permit withdrawal of the adapter away from the clip to place the system in a review configuration to enhance a visual observation of the clip. The first extending member is operable to retract the clip over the adapter so that the clip is forced open, freeing the clip from tissue on which it has been clipped. The first extending member is configured to release the clip therefrom in a final deployed configuration.
ENDOSCOPIC DEVICES, ACCESS SHEATHS, AND ASSOCIATED METHODS
Systems and methods for treating a patient may include accessing an anatomical structure with a single use visualization device, using the imaging capabilities of the single use visualization device within the anatomical structure, and in some cases, advancing the single use visualization device beyond the anatomical structure to and toward another anatomical structure within the patient. Disposable elements may be used with or added to the single use visualization device to accomplish tasks normally performed with reusable devices.
Multiple channel flexible ureteroscope
A ureteroscope system includes a handle; an elongated shaft extends from the handle to a distal end and includes a working channel which is opened at the distal end; an external member extends from a proximal end to a distal end and is coupled to the shaft, the member includes a hub and a tube defining a first external channel; and a coupling mechanism defines first and second tubes and is coupled the distal end of the member to the distal end of the shaft. The first tube defines a first lumen and the second tube defines a second lumen which is sized and shaped to receive a distal end of the member. A proximal portion of the first tube is sized and shaped to be inserted into a distal portion of the shaft such that the first lumen is opened to the working channel.
Optical connecting device for a surgical instrument
An optical connecting device for a surgical instrument including a coupling for connecting first and second optical fiber bundles. The coupling including: a tubular sleeve having an outer surface defining an internal space for receiving an end of the first optical fiber bundle in the internal space of the tubular sleeve; a clamp movably disposed on the outer surface of the tubular sleeve, the clamp having one or more of a first convexity and a first concavity; and a union having one or more of a second convexity and a second concavity. The clamp has a continuous longitudinal opening along its longitudinal extension and on its outer side such that the clamp can be elastically deformed in a radial direction, and the clamp is configured to elastically deform such that one or more of the first convexity and the first concavity engages with one or more of the second convexity and the second concavity of the union.
Method for anastomosing alimentary tract
A method for anastomosing an alimentary tract according to a first aspect of the invention includes a first step of inserting an endoscope into an alimentary tract through a natural opening in a state where a distal end part of a tube body is coupled to an outer periphery of a distal end part of the endoscope; a second step of making a hole in a tract wall of the alimentary tract; a third step of inserting the tube body through the hole; a fourth step of grasping the distal end part of the tube body disposed through the hole; a fifth step of separating the tube body from an outer periphery of the distal end part of the endoscope; and a sixth step of delivering the treatment part up to the hole after the fifth step.
DEVICES AND METHODS FOR EXTENDING A WORKING CHANNEL
