JOINTED SPECULUM
A speculum having an elongated portion with two hinged jaws. In a first mode, the jaws are positioned adjacent each other and in a second mode, the jaws are spaced apart. The speculum is designed such that another identical speculum can be stacked on the original speculum.
Device for suspending one or more medical instruments, such as a drying cabinet for endoscopes and holding system for suspending one or more medical instruments
The present invention relates to a device for suspending one or more medical instruments, such as a drying cabinet for endoscopes, comprising a closable space, a plurality of holders positioned in the closable space provided with at least one retaining elements and a control system comprising an identification system configured for identifying the holders, wherein the at least one retaining element of each holder is provided with at least one identification means connected to the identification system, wherein the identification means is configured to identify the retaining element of the respective holder. The present invention further relates to a holding system for suspending one or more medical instruments in a closable space adapted therefore, such as a drying cabinet for endoscopes, comprising a holder and at least one retaining element, wherein the holding system further comprises a spacer connected to the holder and provided with a hinge system, wherein the at least one retaining element is configured to clampingly receiving the at least one medical instrument to be suspended.
ENDOSCOPE END PROTECTOR
An endoscope distal end protector and method including a body having a plurality of interconnected spaced members forming a body interior. The body has a longitudinal axis and defines a plurality of openings into the body interior. A first cover is disposed on the body and includes a first aperture formed therein. The first aperture is deformable and adapted to permit an endoscope distal end to pass therethrough and into the body interior and adapted to resiliently engage the endoscope distal end to retain the body on the endoscope distal end.
ENDOSCOPE TIP PART WITH IMPROVED OPTICAL PROPERTIES
An endoscope tip part including a tip housing at least partially enclosing an interior cavity and including a window, and a vision assembly accommodated in the interior cavity and including an imaging subassembly including an image sensor viewing in an optical direction through the window of the tip housing, a light source comprising an illumination surface for emitting light, a separate frame component including a light shielding wall made of an opaque material and extending between the image sensor and the light source so as to at least partially shield the image sensor from light emitted from the light source.
HYBRID ENDOSCOPE WITH ROTARY DRUM FOR STERILE MEDICAL APPLICATIONS
Hybrid endoscope, in particular for sterile medical applications, wherein the endoscope comprises a receiving device for an imaging system and a shaft tube, wherein the receiving device is arranged, in a mounted state, on a distal end of the shaft tube. The endoscope is divided into at least two sub-assemblies, wherein a first sub-assembly comprises at least the receiving device, the imaging system and preferably a supply line of the imaging system as re-usable parts, and a second sub-assembly comprises at least the shaft tube as a part for single use, wherein the two sub-assemblies are able to be brought into releasable operative connection by means of an interface.
ENDOSCOPE CLIP
An endoscope clip including; first and second jaws pivotally connected together for movement between open and closed positions, and a spring biasing the first and second jaws into the closed position, wherein each of the first and second jaws comprise: a tube engaging portion, wherein opposing pairs of tube engaging portions for the first and second jaws define two or more adjacent channels configured to receive a portion of an endoscope tube, wherein each of the two or more adjacent channels has an arcuate longitudinal axis; and an actuation portion operable by a user to overcome the biasing action of the spring to open the first and second jaws.
ENDOSCOPE HANDLE
An endoscopic system comprising an endoscope having a reusable hand-piece and separable single-use shaft assembly, a single-use cartridge and a console. The single-use shaft assembly includes fluid paths and electrical connectors configured to extend through the single-use cartridge. The single-use cartridge comprises a housing defining fluid paths and electrical connectors. The reusable hand-piece comprises articulation control(s) for articulation of the single-use shaft assembly.
Medical visualization system
A medical visualisation system including a first medical visualisation device having a first device colour identifier, a second medical visualisation device having a second device colour identifier, a third medical visualisation device having a third device colour identifier, and a monitor device, the first device colour identifier being a first colour, the second device colour identifier being a second colour, and the third device colour identifier being a third colour. The first colour has a first hue angle, the second colour has a second hue angle, and the third colour has a third hue angle, wherein the first hue angle and the second hue angle differ by more than 40 degrees, the second hue angle and the third hue angle differ by more than 40 degrees, and the third hue angle and the first hue angle differ by more than 40 degrees.
MINIMALLY INVASIVE ENDOSCOPE
An endoscope in which a reusable part is inserted into a sheath of a single-use portion that includes a needle with an imaging module at its tip and a part of the reusable portion that is not covered by the sheath is covered with a flexible cap that initially was sterile and covered the open end of the sheath, whereby the entire reusable portion is covered and sealed from the environment by the cap and the sheath during a medical procedure.
Vacuum storage system
A vacuum storage system (40) for storing an article, comprises a sealable outer chamber (30) and a sealable inner chamber (20). The sealable outer chamber (30) has an evacuation valve (21) for connection to a suction device (48) for evacuation of said outer chamber (30). The sealable inner chamber (20) is adapted to receive said article and has a one-way valve (13) in communication with the outer chamber (30). The one-way valve (13) is adapted to open upon the application of suction to the outer chamber (30), thereby to enable evacuation of said inner chamber (20), but to close upon discontinuation of said suction.
