SURGICAL METHODS FOR CONTROL OF ONE VISUALIZATION WITH ANOTHER
In general, devices, systems, and methods for control of one visualization with another are provided.
ENDOSCOPE CAP
Disclosed is an endoscope cap includes a cap body coupled to a tip end of an endoscope introduced into an interior of an organism, an expansion/contraction part provided in the cap body, and expanded or contracted through injection of air, and an air supply part that injects or suctions the air into or from the expansion/contraction part, and the air supply part expands the expansion/contraction part by injecting the air into the expansion/contraction part and the expanded expansion/contraction part bends back a target tissue in the interior of the organism when the cap body reaches the target tissue.
SMART ENDOTRACHEAL TUBE
A method for ventilating the lungs of a patient. The method includes a smart tube for intubation comprising a tip and a cuff. The method also includes one or more cameras, coupled with the smart tube, for providing relative positional intubation measurements of the patient and/or providing intubation images of the patient. Further, the method includes one or more sensors, coupled with the smart tube, for sensing the inflation of the cuff and/or sensing pressure of the cuff. The method for ventilating additionally includes a computing method, coupled with the camera, the at least one sensor and the smart tube, for computing programmed feedback based on the relative positional intubation measurements, and/or the intubation images, and/or the inflation of the cuff, and/or the pressure of the cuff.
DEVICES, SYSTEMS, AND METHODS FOR DETECTING FLUID FLOW
A medical device may comprise a plurality of prongs, each of the prongs having a sensor configured to detect a flow of fluid; and a sleeve disposed radially outward of the plurality of prongs. The sleeve may be configured to move proximally and distally relative to the plurality of prongs to transition the plurality of prongs from a contracted configuration to an expanded configuration.
MINIATURIZED INTRA-BODY CONTROLLABLE MEDICAL DEVICE
Systems and methods are disclosed for medical devices which can operate within a person in connection a medical procedure. In aspects of the present disclosure, a system for assisting with a surgical procedure includes a swarm of medical devices sized to be wholly deployed within a surgical site of a patient where the swarm of medical devices is configured to operate concurrently within the patient to assist a surgeon to perform a surgical procedure in the patient. The swarm of medical devices includes a first medical device that includes an imaging system configured to capture a view of at least a portion of a surgical site and to communicate the captured view, and a second medical device that includes one or more of a retracting device, an irrigation device, a suction device, a clipping device, a therapy delivery device, or a cutting device.
Control apparatus and self-propelled type endoscope system
A control apparatus controls an operation of a self-propelled mechanism of an endoscope. The control apparatus includes a drive circuit that outputs a motor current, a motor current detection circuit that acquires a value relating to magnitude of the motor current as a detection value, a storage circuit that stores a limit value relating to the detection value, and a control circuit that performs an operation as a first controller that controls the drive circuit so as to stop the motor when it is determined that the detection value exceeds a value relating to the limit value, and performs an operation as a second controller that controls the drive circuit so as to stop the motor when it is determined that the detection value exceeds the value relating to the limit value.
Thin-walled spiral tube for use with endoscope
A polymeric device including: an elongated hollow tube having an outer surface; and a spiral fin wound around the outer surface of the hollow tube; wherein the hollow tube and the spiral fin are formed of a single unitary piece through a molding process. The polymeric device can further include a longitudinal projection projecting from the outer surface of the hollow tube, the longitudinal projection having a greater thickness than other portions of the hollow tube and the longitudinal projection extending at least a portion of a longitudinal length of the hollow tube.
Insertion system, method and computer-readable storage medium for displaying attention state information over plurality of times
An insertion system having a processor including hardware, configured to: determine, for each of a plurality of times, one or more positions of an insertion section configured to be inserted into an insertion subject; determine, for the each of the plurality of times, state of the insertion section relative to the insertion subject based on the one or more positions for the each of the plurality of times; determine, for the each of the plurality of times, whether an attention state of the insertion section that restricts insertion of the insertion section into the insertion subject has occurred, based on the state of the insertion section relative to the insertion subject determined; and control a monitor to display attention state information indicating the one or more positions of the insertion section at which the occurrence of the attention state of the insertion section is determined over the plurality of times.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR A TRIPLE IMAGING HYBRID PROBE
A hybrid vision device is provided. The hybrid vision device comprises: an articulating elongate member comprising a proximal end and a distal end, and a positional sensor is located at the distal end of the articulating elongate member; and a multimodal sensing probe removably coupled to the articulating elongate member, and the multimodal sensing probe comprises an ultrasound transducer and a camera located at a distal portion of the multimodal sensing probe.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PROVIDING INCREASED VISUALIZATION AND MANIPULATION OF A BODY SIDE WALL
An endoscopic tissue snare system comprising: a sleeve adapted to be slid over the exterior of an endoscope; a pair of push tubes slidably mounted to the sleeve, each of the push tubes comprising a distal opening and a proximal opening; a distal balloon secured to the distal ends of the pair of push tubes; and a snare comprising a pair of free ends and an intermediate portion disposed between the pair of free ends, wherein the snare extends into the proximal opening of one push tube, up the length of the push tube, out the distal opening of that push tube, across the face of the distal balloon, into the distal opening of the other push tube, down the length of that push tube, and out the proximal opening of that push tube.
