Surgical arm system and surgical arm control system
[Problem] To prevent sight of an observation target from being lost from a visual field of a monitor. [Solution] A surgical arm system includes: an articulated arm in which a plurality of joints is rotatably connected by a plurality of links and which is capable of supporting an oblique-viewing endoscope at a tip; and a control system which controls the articulated arm to change a position and a posture of the oblique-viewing endoscope. The control system controls at least one of a rotation speed and a movement speed of the oblique-viewing endoscope in a visual field imaged through the oblique-viewing endoscope based on a position of the observation target in the visual field.
Medical signal processing apparatus and medical observation system
A medical signal processing apparatus processes image signals input from an imaging device. The image signals corresponds to a result of examining a subject, and the imaging device sequentially outputs the image signals from multiple pixels arrayed in a matrix according to a raster to the medical signal processing apparatus. The medical image signal processing apparatus includes: a signal divider configured to divide the image signals according to the raster sequentially output from the imaging device into first divided image signals each according to a pixel group consisting of multiple pixels arrayed in connected multiple columns; and a plurality of pre-processors configured to process, in parallel, sets of pixel information of the multiple first divided image signals divided by the signal divider.
Endoscopic device having a rotational optical element
The endoscopic device includes a main member having a front slot and a shaft member having a spiral strip selectively running through the slot. The spiral strip is connected to a rotational element whose front end is provided with an optical element. A camera support element is extended from the main member and a camera element is supported by the camera support element. By running the spiral strip through the slot to turn the rotational element and the optical element, a viewing direction of the camera element is altered by the optical element.
Medical observation system, apparatus for controlling the same, and method for controlling the same
A medical observation system includes a multi-link structure in which a plurality of links is mutually coupled by joint parts, a medical observation apparatus attached on the multi-link structure, a control part configured to control the multi-link structure or the medical observation apparatus, and a user interface part by which a user inputs an instruction to change a visual field of the medical observation apparatus. When a user instructs to move a visual field of the medical observation apparatus vertically or horizontally, to rotate an oblique-viewing endoscope, or to change a magnification of the visual field via the user interface part, the control part controls the multi-link structure or the medical observation apparatus.
Surgical system and method of displaying information in the same
A surgical system according to one or more embodiments may include: manipulators respectively supporting an endoscope and first and second surgical instruments; a remote control apparatus including a display device, a first operation handle for right hand to operate the first surgical instrument, and a second operation handle for left hand to operate the second surgical instrument; and a control apparatus. The control apparatus may display, on the display device, a graphical user interface, overlapped with the image captured by the endoscope, the graphical user interface including a first area that displays information on the first surgical instrument to be operated by the first operation handle, a second area that displays information on the second surgical instrument to be operated by the second operation handle, and a third area that displays information on the endoscope, which are arranged side by side in order from right to left.
MASTER/SLAVE REGISTRATION AND CONTROL FOR TELEOPERATION
A teleoperated system comprises a display, a master input device, and a control system. The control system is configured to determine an orientation of an end effector reference frame relative to a field of view reference frame, determine an orientation of a master input device reference frame relative to a display reference frame, establish an alignment relationship between the master input device reference frame and the display reference frame, and command, based on the alignment relationship, a change in a pose of the end effector in response to a change in a pose of the master input device. The alignment relationship is independent of a position relationship between the master input device reference frame and the display reference frame. In one aspect, the teleoperated system is a telemedical system such as a telesurgical system.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR HYBRID IMAGING AND NAVIGATION
A method is provided for navigating an endoscopic device through an anatomical luminal network of a patient. The method comprises: (a) commanding a distal tip of an articulating elongate member to move along a pre-determined path; (b) concurrent with (a), collecting positional sensor data and kinematics data; and (c) computing an estimated roll angle based on the positional sensor data and the kinematics data.
Surgical imaging system, image processing apparatus for surgery, and method for controlling an imaging procedure
A surgical imaging system including a surgical imaging device including identification information; a holding arm that holds and controls a position of the imaging device; a user interface configured to provide non-contact operation of the holding arm; and processing circuitry configured to control the holding arm according to the identification information and an output of the user interface.
UTERINE MANIPULATOR CONTROL WITH PRESENTATION OF CRITICAL STRUCTURES
A system includes a uterine manipulator having a shaft. The uterine manipulator is coupled with the robotic arm. An imaging instrument is operable to provide an image of an exterior of the uterus of the patient. A console includes a display screen and is configured to provide a view from the imaging instrument of the exterior of the uterus of the patient, on the display screen. The console is further configured to provide an indicator on the view from the imaging instrument, on the display screen, the indicator indicating a location of a predefined anatomical structure, the indicator being provided as an overlay on the predefined anatomical structure.
Compact Robotic Endoscope
A medical endoscope that has a reusable portion to which either of two different single-use portions can be snapped in by hand to thereby form two different assembled endoscopes. When one of the single-use portions is assembled with the reusable portion, a motor in the reusable portion robotically rotates a cannula about a proximal end of the single use portion. When the other single-use portion is assembled with the reusable portion, the motor robotically angulates the distal end of the cannula. Another medical endoscope is single-use in its entirety and has motor-driven angulation of the cannula's distal end. Another has manually controlled angulation.
