The invention relates to the compounds or its pharmaceutical acceptable polymorphs, solvates, enantiomers, stereoisomers and hydrates thereof. The pharmaceutical compositions comprising an effective amount of compounds of formula I, formula II, formula III, formula IV, formula V, formula VI, formula VII, formula VIII, formula IX or Formula X and, the methods for the treatment of fungal infections may be formulated for oral, buccal, rectal, topical, transdermal, transmucosal, lozenge, spray, intravenous, oral solution, buccal mucosal layer tablet, parenteral administration, syrup, or injection. Such compositions may be used to treatment of fungal infections.
Pd-catalyzed γ-C(sp.SUP.3.)-H arylation / heteroarylation of free amines
Pd(II)-catalyzed g-G(sp3)-H arylation or heteroarylation of primary amines is realized by using 2-hydroxynicotinaldehyde as a catalytic transient directing group. Importantly, the catalyst and the directing group loading can be lowered to 2% and 4% respectively, thus demonstrating high efficiency of this newly designed transient directing group. Heterocyclic aryl iodides are also compatible with this reaction. Furthermore, swift synthesis of 1,2,3,4-tetrahydronaphthyridine derivatives is accomplished using this reaction.

The present invention relates to novel Ruthenium complexes of formulae A1-A4 and their use, inter alia, for (1) dehydrogenative coupling of alcohols to esters; (2) hydrogenation of esters to alcohols (including hydrogenation of cyclic esters (lactones) or cyclic di-esters (di-lactones), or polyesters); (3) preparing amides from alcohols and amines(including the preparation of polyamides (e.g., polypeptides) by reacting dialcohols and diamines and/or polymerization of amino alcohols and/or forming cyclic dipeptides from p-aminoalcohols; (4) hydrogenation of amides (including cyclic dipeptides, polypeptides and polyamides) to alcohols and amines; (5) hydrogenation of organic carbonates (including polycarbonates) to alcohols or hydrogenation of carbamates (including polycarbamates) or urea derivatives to alcohols and amines; (6) dehydrogenation of secondary alcohols to ketones; (7) amidation of esters (i.e., synthesis of amides from esters and amines); (8) acylation of alcohols using esters; (9) coupling of alcohols with water and a base to form carboxylic acids; and (10) preparation of amino acids or their salts by coupling of amino alcohols with water and a base. The present, invention further relates to the use of certain known Ruthenium complexes for the preparation of amino acids or their salts from amino alcohols.

Method for producing and purifying 2,3,3,3-tetrafluoro-1-propene
The present invention concerns a method for producing for producing and purifying 2,3,3,3-tetrafluoro-1-propene (1234yf) from a first composition comprising 2,3,3,3-tetrafluoro-1-propene and chloromethane (40), said method comprising the steps of: (a) bringing said first composition into contact with at least one organic extractant in order to form a second composition; (b) extractive distillation of said second composition in order to form (i) a third composition comprising said organic extractant and chloromethane (40); and (ii) a stream comprising 2,3,3,3-tetrafluoro-1-propene (1234yf); (c) recovering and separating said third composition, preferably by distillation, in order to form a stream comprising said organic extractant and a stream comprising chloromethane (40).
COMPOSITIONS FOR ORGAN PRESERVATION
The invention relates to the field of preserving the viability of organs or tissues to be transplanted into a recipient in need of such a transplantation. In particular, the invention relates to use of a sigma 1 receptor agonist compound in preservation solutions and preservation solutions comprising a sigma 1 receptor agonist compound.
Treatment of produced water from unconventional sources of hydrocarbons
There is provided herein a system and method to effectively treat produced water. In some embodiments, produced water is treated by mixing produced water with an amine solvent and humic acid to form precipitates comprising magnesium, strontium, barium and radium hydroxides in a precipitator unit. Precipitates are then removed by a filter to produce de-scaled produced water. The amine solvent is recovered from the de-scaled produced water by a stripping unit.
