METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR THREE-DIMENSIONAL IMAGING
A method and system for dynamically providing visual feedback about a quality of data collected during intra-oral scanning Images or light patterns are projected onto an object such as teeth for 3D measurement and for relaying feedback about a quality of the 3D measurement to a user. In this way unsuccessful registrations surface areas of the teeth that have not been acquired yet may be corrected by informing the user to repeat scans at corresponding locations in the intra-oral cavity.
Camera system for use with retractors
A camera system for use with retractors. The system includes a camera assembly configured for mounting on the proximal end of a retractor system, such as the proximal end of a blade such that the entirety of the camera assembly is disposed at the proximal end of the retractor system may be disposed such that the distal-most optical element overhangs the working channel established by the retractor, and includes a reflector and a rotatable mount for the reflector, camera assembly viewing axis may be altered without changing the position of the entire camera assembly.
Cooperative access hybrid procedures
A method of operating a surgical anchoring system can include inserting an outer sleeve of a surgical instrument at least partially into a first natural body lumen, the outer sleeve having a working channel. The method can include inserting a channel arm of the surgical instrument through the working channel of the outer sleeve and into a second natural body lumen. The channel arm has at least one first anchor member coupled thereto and a control actuator operatively coupled to the at least one first anchor member. The method can include expanding the at least one first anchor member from an unexpanded state to an expanded state to form an anchor point at a portion of the second natural body lumen. The method can include controlling, by the control actuator, a motion of the channel arm to selectively manipulate an organ associated with the first and second natural body lumens.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR 3D STEREOSCOPIC ANGIOVISION, ANGIONAVIGATION AND ANGIOTHERAPEUTICS
Devices, systems, and methods for catheterization through angionavigation, cardionavigation, or brain navigation to diagnose or treat diseased areas through direct imaging using tracking, such as radiofrequency, infrared, or ultrasound tracking, of the catheter through the patient's vascular anatomy. A steerable catheter with six degrees of freedom having at least a camera and fiber optic bundle, and one or more active or passive electromagnetic tracking sensors located on the catheter is guided through the vascular system under direct imaging. The direct imaging can be assisted with at least one of MRA imaging, CT angiography imaging, or 3DRA imaging as the roadmap acquired prior to or during 3D stereoangiovision. The system comprises RF transceivers to provide positioning information from the sensors, a processor executing navigation software to fuse the tracking information from the tracking sensors with the imaging roadmap, and a display to display the location of the catheter on the roadmap.
Computer-guided endodontic procedure
In embodiments of a method for visually guided access cavity preparation, the method makes use of a 2D image of a phantom implant matching a desired access cavity path to a pulp chamber of a tooth anatomy, the phantom implant being non-tapered along its length and having a diameter no greater than 1.0 mm. The phantom implant is overlaid over a 2D or 3D image of the tooth anatomy and drilling of the access cavity path is monitored using a visual display that compares the drilled access cavity path to the desired access cavity path.
INTRAORAL SCANNING SYSTEMS
Methods and apparatuses for taking, using and displaying three-dimensional (3D) volumetric models of a patient's dental arch. A 3D volumetric model may include surface (e.g., color) information as well as information on internal structure, such as near-infrared (near-IR) transparency values for internal structures including enamel and dentin.
INTRAORAL SCANNING APPARATUS
Methods and apparatuses for generating and displaying a model of a subject's teeth. Described herein are intraoral scanning methods and apparatuses for generating a three-dimensional model of a subject's intraoral region (e.g., teeth). These methods and apparatuses may be used for identifying and evaluating lesions, caries and cracks in the teeth.
METHOD FOR THE DIGITAL ACQUISITION OF AN INTRAORAL STRUCTURE, AND COLOR REFERENCE TEMPLATE AND SYSTEM FOR CARRYING OUT THE METHOD
The invention relates to a method for the digital acquisition of an intraoral structure by scanning the structure using an intraoral color scanner which, according to the invention, is designed to correct color values of the scanning points using a color reference template of a reference color space.
IDENTIFICATION APPARATUS AND IDENTIFICATION METHOD
An identification apparatus includes an input interface to which position data including position information of each of a plurality of objects is input, and processing circuitry that is configured to identify at least one object among the plurality of objects based on the position data that is input from the input interface and an estimation model that is trained to estimate a type of each of the plurality of objects based at least on the position data of each of the plurality of objects, the position data including a relative positional relationship which is fixed inside the mouth.
Diagnostic intraoral methods and apparatuses
Methods and apparatuses for taking, using and displaying three-dimensional (3D) volumetric models of a patient's dental arch. A 3D volumetric model may include surface (e.g., color) information as well as information on internal structure, such as near-infrared (near-IR) transparency values for internal structures including enamel and dentin.
