Provided is a rubber composition that has better weather resistance than conventional rubber compositions and can inhibit surface discoloration of a rubber article. The rubber composition contains at least one rubber component selected from natural rubber and diene-based synthetic rubbers and, blended therewith, at least one amine compound represented by formula (I) shown below. In formula (I), R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 each represent, independently of one another, an alkyl group having a carbon number of 1-10, an aralkyl group, or a phenyl group, and A represents an alkylene group having a carbon number of 6-30 that may include an interposed phenylene group.

Provided is a rubber composition that has better weather resistance than conventional rubber compositions and can inhibit surface discoloration of a rubber article. The rubber composition contains at least one rubber component selected from natural rubber and diene-based synthetic rubbers and, blended therewith, at least one amine compound represented by formula (I) shown below. In formula (I), R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 each represent, independently of one another, an alkyl group having a carbon number of 1-10, an aralkyl group, or a phenyl group, and A represents an alkylene group having a carbon number of 6-30 that may include an interposed phenylene group.
