Substantially rigid and stable endoluminal surgical suite for treating a gastrointestinal lesion
Exemplary embodiments of devices and method for affecting at least one anatomical tissue can be provided. A configuration can be provided that includes a structure which is expandable (i) having and/or (ii) forming at least one opening or a working space through which the anatomical tissue(s) is placed in the structure. For example, the structure, prior to being expanding, can have at least one partially rigid portion. In addition, or as an alternative, upon a partial or complete expansion thereof, the structure can be controllable to have a plurality of shapes. Further, the structure can be controllable to provide the working space with multiple shapes and/or multiple sizes.
ENDOLUMINAL DEVICE WITH RETRACTOR SYSTEM
Improved methods and devices for performing an endoscopic surgery are provided. Systems are taught for operatively treating gastrointestinal disorders endoscopically in a stable, yet dynamic operative environment, and in a minimally-invasive manner. Such systems include, for example, an endoscopic surgical suite. The surgical suite can have a reversibly-expandable retractor that expands to provide a stable, operative environment within a subject. The expansion can be asymmetric around a stabilizer subsystem to maximize space for a tool and an endoscope to each be maneuvered independently to visualize a target tissue and treat the target tissue from outside the patient in a minimally invasive manner.
CONNECTED MEDICAL DEVICES
A medical assembly may include a first imaging device and a second imaging device. The first imaging device may have a first shaft, a first cable, and a second cable extending from the first handle. The second cable may be in electrical communication with the first cable. A first imager may be disposed at a distal end of the first shaft. The second imaging device may have a second handle, a third cable extending from the second handle, and a second shaft extending distally from the second handle. A second imager may be disposed at a distal end of the second shaft. The first imaging device and the second imaging device may be configured to connect via the third cable, thereby transmitting imaging data from the second imager through the first cable, the second cable, and the third cable.
Device delivery systems for endoscopes
Tools and systems are provided for the delivery of accessory devices to endoscopes. A device delivery system for delivering an endoscopic device to an endoscope, comprises an insertion instrument having a pair of pivotable arms. The arms extend from a device delivery portion of the insertion instrument at a first end, into a handle portion at an opposed, second end, and are connected together at a pivotable connection. A bracket is connected to a back plate for placement of a device to be delivered thereagainst. An extension shaft extends from the back plate for placement through a working channel of the endoscopic device to be delivered. The system further comprises a removable spacer for enclosing the device delivery end of the insertion instrument.
BRONCHOSCOPE
A bronchoscope for insertion into a patient's airways for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes. The bronchoscope includes a bronchoscope head configured to be releasably secured and sealed to one tube of a set of interchangeable bronchial and/or tracheal tubes.

Treatment tool exchanging device and medical system
Provided is a treatment tool exchanging device that switches and holds a plurality of treatment tools for treating a target to be treated. The treatment tool exchanging device includes a flexible insertion part into which the plurality of treatment tools are inserted and in which a plurality of treatment tool channels for defining insertion paths for the treatment tools are formed, a driving part that advances each of the plurality of treatment tools, a manipulating part that manipulates the plurality of treatment tools to perform treatment, and a control unit that controls the amount of protrusion, from the treatment tool channel of the treatment tool, which has protruded from a distal end of the treatment tool channel, among the plurality of treatment tools. The insertion part has a switching part that changes the insertion path of the treatment tool to be inserted.
Secondary endoscope mountable to a mother endoscope and a combination of a mother endoscope and a secondary endoscope
The invention refers to a secondary endoscope mountable onto a mother endoscope. The secondary endoscope comprises a grip body (4; 400) having an outer body including an inner channel and an inner body (3; 300) arranged in the inner channel of the outer body, said inner body (3; 300) being movable relatively to the outer body; a catheter (5; 500) mounted on the grip body (4; 400); a control element (1; 100) at the proximal side of the grip body (4; 400) for controlling a bending portion (6; 600) arranged on the distal end of the catheter (5; 500), said control element (1; 100) being arranged on the proximal side of the inner body (3; 300); and a mounting connection on the distal end of the grip body (4; 400) for fixing the secondary endoscope to a mother endoscope (200), said mounting connection being attached to the outer body of the grip body (4; 400).
Device for transmitting a deflection movement, endoscope bending control unit, and endoscope
The invention refers to a deflection movement transmission device comprising a control element (1) arranged at a proximal end of the deflection movement transmission device for effecting a deflection movement, an elongate transmission guiding body (5), and a bendable body (6) to be deflected that is arranged at a distal end of the deflection movement transmission device, wherein the control element (1) comprises an inner channel (16) through which the bendable body (6) to be deflected is guidable.
Integrated multi-functional endoscopic tool
A system for extending the visual capabilities and working channel of a bronchoscope including a probe having optic and/or tracking capabilities at a distal tip thereof and capable of being advanced through the working channel of a standard bronchoscope. The probe also includes a working channel through which various diagnostic and treatment tools may be advanced.
