Intraoral scanner
An intraoral scanner includes a casing, a light source disposed in the casing, a reflection plate obliquely disposed in the casing for reflecting light of the light source to an object to be scanned through an opening of the casing, a transparent plate, and a receiver adjacent to the light source. A projection optical axis of the light source forms a first oblique angle with a receiving optical axis of the receiver. The receiver receives light after being incident to the object to be scanned and then reflected to the receiver by the reflection plate. The transparent plate is disposed between the light source and the reflection plate or covers the opening. The projection optical axis forms a second oblique angle with a norm of the transparent plate to make a reflection angle range of light reflected by the transparent plate fall outside a receiving angel range of the receiver.
Endoscope apparatus
An auxiliary measurement light-emitting unit emits auxiliary measurement light that is planar light including at least two first feature lines. A taken image obtained through the imaging of a subject includes an intersection curve and at least two first spots that are formed at positions corresponding to first feature lines on the intersection curve. Measurement information representing the actual size of the subject is displayed in the taken image by using the positions of the first spots.
ENDOSCOPE AND ENDOSCOPIC DEVICE
An endoscope includes: an imaging unit that is incorporated in a distal tip of an insertion tube and images an observed site through an observation window; a plurality of first LEDs juxtaposed outside the imaging unit; and a plurality of second LEDs juxtaposed outside a region where the first LEDs are juxtaposed. The region where the first LEDs are juxtaposed and a region where the second LEDs are juxtaposed are covered with a light distribution lens, light emission of the first LED is output to an angular range smaller than a viewing angle of the imaging unit through the light distribution lens, and light emission of the second LED is output to an angular range smaller than the viewing angle of the imaging unit through the light distribution lens.
Cyclo olefin polymer and copolymer medical devices
An illuminated medical system comprises a medical instrument and a light transmitting waveguide. The waveguide projects lights from a distal portion of the waveguide toward a target area. The waveguide is formed primarily of a cyclic olefin copolymer or a cyclic olefin polymer.
SYSTEMS, METHODS, AND DEVICES FOR PROVIDING ILLUMINATION IN AN ENDOSCOPIC IMAGING ENVIRONMENT
The disclosure relates to an endoscopic light source that includes a first emitter. The first emitter may emit light of a first wavelength at a dichroic mirror which reflects the light of the first wavelength to a plurality of optical fibers. The endoscopic light source further comprises a second emitter. The second emitter may emit light of a second wavelength at a second dichroic mirror which reflects the light of the second wavelength to the plurality of optical fibers. In one embodiment, the first dichroic mirror may be transparent to the light of the second wavelength, allowing the light of the second wavelength to pass through the first dichroic mirror.
Illumination optical system
An illumination optical system includes a diffusion element that diffuses illumination light entering from a light source, the diffusion element emitting the illumination light. The diffusion element is formed by dispersing fine particles of at least one kind in a homogeneous medium that is made of a material different from the fine particles, and the diffusion element satisfies a specific conditional expressions.
Endoscope apparatus and control method of endoscope apparatus
An endoscope apparatus includes: an endoscope at least a part of which is inserted into an observation object and that propagates an image of an inside of the observation object irradiated with illumination light; a light source that emits the illumination light illuminating the inside of the observation object to the endoscope; an imager that captures an image of the inside of the observation object having been propagated from the endoscope and generates a captured image of the inside of the observation object; and control circuitry that performs driving control for the endoscope, the light source, and the imager. The control circuitry is configured to change the radiation angle of the illumination light in accordance with whether an insertion portion being a part of the endoscope is moving in the inside of the observation object or as stopped.
VIDEO LARYNGOSCOPE APPARATUS
Described herein is a video laryngoscope apparatus for inspection of an oral cavity region of a patient is disclosed. The video laryngoscope includes an apparatus body, a camera arm unit configured to receive and releasably attach thereto a disposable laryngoscope blade, a light source coupled to the camera arm unit, a communication unit, and a power source. The apparatus body includes a proximal end and a distal end, and the apparatus body is elongate and configured to be hand-held by an operator of the video laryngoscope. The camera arm unit includes a proximal end and a distal end with a camera, and the proximal end of the camera arm unit is connected to the distal end of the apparatus body utilizing an adjustable rotary position linkage member. The communication unit is connected via a linkage device to the proximal end of the apparatus body, and the power source is housed by the apparatus body.
ENDOSCOPE APPARATUS
A picked-up image that is obtained from the image pickup of a subject illuminated with illumination light and auxiliary measurement light is acquired. The picked-up image includes at least two first and second spectral images having different wavelength components. A first arithmetic image from which a first noise component hindering the detection of an irradiation position of the auxiliary measurement light is removed by first arithmetic processing based on the first and second spectral images is obtained.
Vaginal surgical apparatus
This invention relates generally to a medical device, and more specifically, to a vaginal surgical apparatus. In one embodiment, an apparatus includes, a vaginal manipulator probe that is at least partly insertable into a vagina, the vaginal manipulator probe including an end portion that includes a bullous tip and that includes a space that accommodates a cervix therewithin; and at least one prominence incorporated with the vaginal manipulator probe operable to assist with identifying one or more positions of at least one anatomical structure or orienting the vaginal manipulator probe.
