Conductive optical element
11666208 · 2023-06-06 ·

A device having an optical element with a conductive coating. The device may include an optical element, a conductive material and at least one connector. The conductive material is disposed on at least a portion of the optical element. The optical element, for example, may be an object lens of an endoscope or an optical coupler. The connectors (acting as terminal(s)) are capable of providing energy (such as electrical energy) to the conductive material. In one aspect, the conductive material is an optically transparent material. Advantageously, the device may allow visualization of an object—such as body tissue or other matter—concurrent with the application of energy to the object via the conductive coating. This allows the user to observe the alteration of tissue and other matter in real time as the energy is delivered.

ENDOSCOPIC LED LIGHT SOURCE HAVING A FEEDBACK CONTROL SYSTEM

A method of generating illumination by a light source for transmission to an endoscope includes emitting light from a plurality of light emitters of the light source, each light emitter emitting light having a different wavelength range from other light emitters of the plurality of light emitters; combining the light emitted from the plurality of light emitters into a combined light; receiving and condensing the combined light by a focusing optic to create a condensed light; and receiving and orienting the condensed light in a straight path direction by a collimating optic.

Foreign matters of variable size in the interior of one's auditory canal are removed infallibly.

An image capturing tube 220 adapted to be inserted into one's auditory canal to output an image of an interior of the auditory canal, a suction tube 230 provided along the image capturing tube 220 to suck a foreign matter in the interior of the auditory canal, and a main body unit 200 provided with the image capturing tube 220 and the suction tube 230 are included. The image capturing tube 220 includes a camera 240 adapted to capture the image of the interior of the auditory canal, and to a tip end of the suction tube 230, a dust collecting tube 232 is attached.

Laparascope and endoscope cleaning and defogging device

A laparascope and endoscope cleaning and defogging device with a port located horizontally that is used to warm the scope prior to insertion into the body cavity/surgical site. The scope punctures the initial membrane and enters the cavity between two bodies of absorbent material that contain fluid. The absorbent material is arranged such that the passage of a scope would be accommodated for different sizes of surgical scopes. A circuit board is located on the bottom of the chamber that has a design element used to warm the liquid to a temperature equal to or greater than the temperature of the proposed surgical environment. When the scope is located between the two absorbent bodies, the heat generated by the circuit board is transferred via the liquid and contacts the scope, warming it in preparation for surgery.

Flexible digital ureteroscope

The present invention discloses a flexible digital ureteroscope that is at least partially disposable. The ureteroscope comprises a single-use catheter and a handle. The catheter comprises a distal end, a bend portion, and a proximal portion. The distal end has a rigid or semi-rigid shell that houses a set of micro lenses, an image sensor microchip, and a plurality of LED light sources. A working channel extends along the entire catheter and is coupled to a working channel port on the handle to receive various medical devices and irrigation lines during an endoscopic procedure. In addition, the catheter includes one or more steering wires to control the distal end to bend towards a desired direction. The rigid or semi-rigid shell of the distal end is made of a mix of polymer composite material with graphene nano-filler for enhancing thermal dissipation. The handle may be a single-use handle or a reusable handle. In case the handle is a reusable handle, it includes a battery module and a wireless communication module for communicating with a host machine wirelessly. In case the handle is a single-use handle, to reduce cost, the handle does not include a battery module and/or a wireless communication module. Rather, the single-use handle includes a host interface for receiving power from the host machine and transmits image data to the host machine.

Handheld resector balloon system

A handheld resector balloon system includes a balloon catheter with a resecting surface and hub coupled to a handheld pump. The hub includes an inflation port that supplies fluid to a first lumen of the catheter to repeatedly inflate and deflate the balloon in pulsed fashion to resect biological material. The hub may also include a delivery port for delivering an agent, such as drugs, to a second lumen of the catheter for delivery to the distal end of the catheter. The hub may also include an aperture for inserting a device, such as an imaging device, into the second lumen of the catheter. In some embodiments, an imaging module is coupled to a handheld pump, which may include a light source for supplying light, and image circuitry for converting an optical signal from the imaging device to electrical data to be output to a computer.

A method and system are disclosed for opening a workspace inside a lumen of a living creature are disclosed. Anchors may be affixed to opposite ends of the workspace. An extender may be distance anchors apart while they are affixed to the walls of the workspace. Distancing the anchors may unfold and/or stretch the lumen in the region of the workspace.

ENDOSCOPE

An endoscope includes a control module, a lens module, a cover, and an encapsulation. The lens module is electrically connected to the control module. The cover has a transparent area, and the cover covers the lens module in a sealing manner. The encapsulation encapsulates the cover and the control module, and exposes the transparent area, such that the encapsulation serves as a shell of the endoscope.

ENDOSCOPE

An endoscope (1) having a heating device (7) with at least one stiffened area (9, 10, 27) on a printed circuit board (8). At least one heating element (11) of the heating device is arranged in the stiffened area (9, 10, 27), and the heating device (7) is laid flat, from the outside, on a metallic head part (4) at the distal end (3) of the endoscope.
