VISUAL FIELD MEASURING DEVICE AND SYSTEM
The invention relates to mobile computer devices, front-mounted optical systems and computer program products allowing perimetry measurement.
Holographic real space refractive sequence
A system and a method for holographic eye testing device are disclosed. The system renders one or more three dimensional objects within the holographic display device. The system updates the rendering of the one or more three dimensional objects within the holographic display device, by virtual movement of the one or more three dimensional objects within the level of depth. The system receives input from a user indicating alignment of the one or more three dimensional objects after the virtual movement. The system determines a delta between a relative virtual position of the one or more three dimensional objects at the moment of receiving input and an optimal virtual position and generates prescriptive remedy based on the delta.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR EVALUATING HUMAN EYE TRACKING
Systems and methods are disclosed for evaluating human eye tracking. One method includes receiving data representing the location of and/or information tracked by an individual's eye or eyes before, during, or after the individual performs a task; identifying a temporal phase or a biomechanical phase of the task performed by the individual; identifying a visual cue in the identified temporal phase or biomechanical phase; and scoring the tracking of the individual's eye or eyes by comparing the data to the visual cue.
Method of evaluating quality of vision in examinee's eye and storage medium
An ophthalmic apparatus obtains naked-eye wavefront aberration data of an examinee's eye measured by an aberration measuring unit, and calculates first corrected wavefront aberration data intended for a prescription with a first correction power based on the naked-eye wavefront aberration data and the first correction power and generates a first evaluation index based on the first corrected wavefront aberration data. The ophthalmic apparatus further calculates second corrected wavefront aberration data intended for a prescription with a second correction power different from the first correction power in at least one of spherical power, astigmatic power, and astigmatic axis angle based on the naked-eye wavefront aberration data and the second correction power, and generates a second evaluation index based on the second corrected wavefront aberration data. The ophthalmic apparatus then displays the first and second evaluation indexes selectively or in parallel on a monitor.
FUNDUS ANALYSIS APPARATUS AND FUNDUS OBSERVATION APPARATUS
A fundus analysis apparatus includes a storage, an area setting unit, and a morphological information generating unit. The storage is configured to store OCT information acquired by applying optical coherence tomography to the fundus of an eye. The area setting unit is configured to set a front area corresponding to a front surface of the lamina cribrosa and a rear area corresponding to a rear surface of the lamina cribrosa in the OCT information. The morphological information generating unit is configured to generate morphological information indicating the morphology of the lamina cribrosa based on at least the front area and the rear area.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR THE RAPID MEASUREMENT OF THE VISUAL CONTRAST SENSITIVITY FUNCTION
A computer, a high resolution monitor and a patient interface is utilized to implement a visual contrast sensitivity function measurement test. More specifically, a computerized video system is configured to implement a tilted-grating forced choice contrast sensitivity function test. The invention utilizes known measurement methods for the visual contrast sensitivity function and automates their use by computerizing the system and couples it with a patient-interactive user interface in order to produce an accurate quantitative result.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR REMOTE MEASUREMENT OF THE EYES AND DELIVERING OF SUNGLASSES AND EYEGLASSES
The present disclosure provides methods, devices, and systems for automated measured correction of the eyes and provision of sunglasses and eyeglasses for individuals, including individuals with a visual acuity of 20/20 or better. Methods, devices and systems for remote measurement of refraction by an examiner away from the measurement system are also disclosed.
Fundus photography device
A fundus photography device includes: an OCT optical system configured to detect interference between a measurement light from a fundus of a subject's eye and a reference light from a reference optical path; a fundus photography optical system configured to detect a reflected light from the fundus; a controller configured to generate a tomographic image of the fundus and a first front image of the fundus based on an output signal from the OCT optical system, and generate a second front image of the fundus based on an output signal from the fundus photography optical system. The controller is configured to cause simultaneous display of the first front image and the second front image in different display regions on a monitor.
Electroactive polymer devices, systems, and methods
An electroactive device may include (1) an electroactive polymer element having a first surface and a second surface opposing the first surface, (2) a primary electrode abutting the first surface, and (3) a secondary electrode abutting the second surface. The electroactive polymer element may be transformed from an initial state to a deformed state and may achieve substantially uniform strain by the application of an electrostatic field produced by a potential difference between the electrodes. Various other devices, systems, and methods are also disclosed.
ANS ASSESSMENT SYSTEMS, KITS, AND METHODS
Systems, devices, methods, and kits for monitoring one or more physiologic and/or physical signals from a subject are disclosed. A system including a head mounted display to monitor one or more physiologic signals from the face or head of the subject is disclosed. A method for analyzing an ocular parameter of the subject to determine a sympathetic and a parasympathetic outflow thereto is disclosed.
