COLOR BLINDNESS DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM
Systems and methods for determining whether to enable color blind accessibility settings within the course of a user interactive narrative are described herein. Virtual color blindness indication objects containing colors that are visibly distinguishable within a single dichromatic visual spectrum can be utilized in objectives to determine a user's dichromatic visual deficiency type.
Augmented reality pulse oximetry
One embodiment is directed to a system comprising a head-mounted member removably coupleable to the user's head; one or more electromagnetic radiation emitters coupled to the head-mounted member and configured to emit light with at least two different wavelengths toward at least one of the eyes of the user; one or more electromagnetic radiation detectors coupled to the head-mounted member and configured to receive light reflected after encountering at least one blood vessel of the eye; and a controller operatively coupled to the one or more electromagnetic radiation emitters and detectors and configured to cause the one or more electromagnetic radiation emitters to emit pulses of light while also causing the one or more electromagnetic radiation detectors to detect levels of light absorption related to the emitted pulses of light, and to produce an output that is proportional to an oxygen saturation level in the blood vessel.
Refraction devices
A refraction device includes a main body, a spherical power lens coupled to the main body, an astigmatic power lens movably coupled to the main body, and a visual display coupled to the main body and oriented toward an optical pathway extending through the spherical power lens and the astigmatic power lens. The visual display is configured to display an image for testing visual acuity.
Training method, program and computing device for ameliorating visual field defect
Disclosed are training method, program and computing device to ameliorate visual field defect. The method includes presenting, by a computer, a virtual first object on a screen, wherein the first object is presented in an approaching manner toward the subject from a first position to a second position, when a position of the first object reaches the second position, the dividing, by the computer, of the first object into objects and presenting the divided objects on the screen or removing, by the computer, the first object from the screen, when the first object is divided or removed, presenting, by the computer, a virtual second object and a virtual third object on the screen, and receiving, by the computer, an identification input about the second object and the third object from a response input device of the subject.
Methods and systems for determining a refraction of at least an eye of a person
Method for determining a refraction of at least an eye of a person under specific spectral conditions, the method including: an eye illumination step, during which the eye of the person is illuminated under the specific spectral conditions, the specific spectral conditions being provided by a polychromatic source having a spectrum which is different from the spectrum of a white light source and/or by a chromatic filter positioned before the eye of the person and illuminated by a source; and a refraction determination step during which the refraction of the eye of the person is determined under the specific spectral conditions.
DETERMINING VISION RELATED PHYSICAL CONDITIONS FROM CROSS-PARAMETER VISION TESTS
A method and system for determining visual related physical conditions of a user of a display device, determined from the user's responses to a selection of visual-tasks. A dataset is provided for correlating the user's responses with the corresponding scores, so that by measuring the degree of correlation between the user's scores and a predetermined combination of the corresponding scores, the user's visual physical condition can be determined. A system is also provided, including a user device as well as a remote server for providing visual acuity and related testing to detect certain vision deficiencies and visual related physical conditions. In addition, a user device application is provided.
VISION TEST FOR DETERMINING RETINAL DISEASE PROGRESSION
The present invention provides a reading test to measure vision loss. In one embodiment, the vision loss is due to disease progression. The tests are useful in evaluating the effects of intervention in vision deterioration. The tests are non-invasive, simple, quick, sensitive, reproducible, and easy to administer. The tests measure the subject's reading speed and accuracy under defined conditions of illumination and contrast. The results of these tests may be used to determine if treatment of a disease should be initiated, terminated, altered, or remain unchanged.

AUTHORING AND OPTIMIZATION OF ACCESSIBLE COLOR THEMES
Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to computer storage, methods, and systems for the optimization of accessible color themes. Systems and methods are disclosed that leverage the use of confusion lines to identify and highlight relationships between colors that may be inaccessible (e.g., indistinguishable) for a person with a vision impairment, such as a color vision deficiency. In some embodiments, a graphical user interface is provided that, based on a selection of colors in a color wheel, visually indicates curves of confusion for each color in the selection of colors. Each curve of confusion visually indicates a confusion of colors for a type of vision impairment, such as a CVD.
Multi-element prescription lenses with eye-tracking
The disclosed embodiments are generally directed to optical systems. The optical systems may include a proximal lens that may transmit light toward an eye of a user. The optical systems may also include a distal lens that may, in combination with the proximal lens, correct for at least a portion of a refractive error of the eye of the user. The optical systems may further include a selective transmission interface. The selective transmission interface may couple the proximal lens to the distal lens, transmits light having a selected property, and does not transmit light that does not have the selected property. The optical system can also include an accommodative lens, such as a liquid lens. Various other methods, systems, and computer-readable media are also disclosed.
