Compositions comprising Fabaceae family plant components, processes of preparation and uses thereof

The present disclosure relates to processes for recovering valuable products from Fabaceae family plant fractions, in particular from Medicago sativa ssp. The processes disclosed herein include processes for obtaining macrofibers, microfibers, a saponin precursor, chloroplast liquid and dry compositions and a Rubisco precursor. There is also disclosed herein processes for extracting from Fabaceae family plants valuable compounds such as proteins, enzymes, peptides, amino acids, fatty acids, fatty alcohols, terpenes, phenols and pigments. The processes may comprise at least one of separating plant fibers while attenuating shear forces, maintaining the temperature at or below 45° C., maintaining the pH above 4 and adding antioxidant and/or antimicrobial agents. Compositions comprising these recovered Fabaceae family plant products and uses thereof are also disclosed.

SAPONIN CONJUGATED TO EPITOPE-BINDING PROTEINS

The invention relates to a therapeutic combination, comprising a first proteinaceous molecule comprising a first binding site for binding to a first epitope of a first cell-surface molecule, the first proteinaceous molecule provided with at least one saponin covalently bound to an amino-acid residue of said first proteinaceous molecule, and comprising a second pharmaceutical composition comprising a second proteinaceous molecule different from the first proteinaceous molecule, the second proteinaceous molecule comprising a second binding site for binding to a second epitope of a second cell-surface molecule different from the first cell-surface molecule, and comprising an effector moiety, wherein the second epitope is different from the first epitope. An aspect of the invention is a composition comprising the first proteinaceous molecule and the second proteinaceous molecule of the invention. The invention also relates to an antibody-drug conjugate comprising the first proteinaceous molecule of the invention and an effector moiety. An aspect of the invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition comprising the composition or the antibody-drug conjugate of the invention, and optionally further comprising a pharmaceutically acceptable excipient. The invention also relates to the therapeutic combination or the composition or the antibody-drug conjugate or the pharmaceutical composition of the invention, for use as a medicament. The invention also relates to the therapeutic combination of the invention for use in the treatment or prophylaxis of a cancer.

HIGH-PURITY STEVIOL GLYCOSIDES

Methods of preparing highly purified steviol glycosides, particularly rebaudiosides A, D and M are described. The methods include utilizing recombinant microorganisms for converting various staring compositions to target steviol glycosides. In addition, novel steviol glycosides reb D2, reb M2, and reb I are disclosed, as are methods of preparing the same. The highly purified rebaudiosides are useful as non-caloric sweetener in edible and chewable compositions such as any beverages, confectioneries, bakery products, cookies, and chewing gums.

Rebaudioside B and derivatives

The invention describes compositions that include a stevia sweetener and a salt of a steviol glycoside, wherein the concentration of the components provide an improved taste profile where bitterness, after taste and/or lingering of the stevia sweetener is decreased or eliminated.
