20170240617 · 2017-08-24 ·

This disclosure relates to formulations of peptide agents, e.g., antibodies and antigen-binding fragments thereof, that bind hemagglutinin protein of influenza viruses, and methods of their use.

NEUTRALIZING ANTI-INFLUENZA A ANTIBODIES AND USES THEREOF

The invention relates to antibodies and binding fragments thereof that are capable of binding to influenza A virus hemagglutinin and neutralizing at least one group 1 subtype and at least 1 group 2 subtype of influenza A virus.

COMPOSITIONS AND METHODS FOR TREATMENT OF INFLUENZA A INFECTION
20220306728 · 2022-09-29 ·

The present disclosure provides antibodies, antibody compositions, and methods for use in prophylaxis and treatment of influenza A infection. In certain embodiments, a single administration of a presently disclosed antibody or antibody composition is useful to protect against and/or treat an influenza A infection for a full flu season.

Mutant of hemagglutinin protein of H3N2 subtype influenza virus and use thereof

The disclosure relates to a mutant of hemagglutinin protein of H3N2 subtype influenza virus and use thereof. In addition, the disclosure also relates to a pharmaceutical composition (e.g., a vaccine) comprising the mutant, a method for preparing the mutant, and a method of using the mutant for prevention and/or treatment of an infection of influenza virus and/or a disease (e.g., an influenza) caused by the infection.

Protein production method

This invention relates to a method for producing a protein of interest, comprising introducing a protein expression vector which comprises a gene fragment a gene fragment comprising a DNA encoding a protein of interest and a selectable marker gene and transposon sequences at both terminals of the gene fragment, into a suspension mammalian cell; integrating the gene fragment inserted between a pair of the transposon sequences, into a chromosome of the mammalian cell to obtain a mammalian cell capable of expressing the protein of interest; and suspension-culturing the mammalian cell; and a suspension mammalian cell capable of expressing the protein of interest.

Human antibodies to influenza hemagglutinin

The present invention provides monoclonal antibodies, or antigen-binding fragments thereof, that bind to the influenza hemagglutinin (HA) protein, pharmaceutical compositions comprising the antibodies and methods of use. The antibodies of the invention are useful for inhibiting or neutralizing influenza virus activity, thus providing a means of treating or preventing influenza infection in humans. In some embodiments, the invention provides for use of one or more antibodies that bind to the influenza HA for preventing viral attachment and/or entry into host cells. The antibodies of the invention may be used prophylactically or therapeutically and may be used alone or in combination with one or more other anti-viral agents or vaccines.

NEUTRALIZING ANTI-INFLUENZA B ANTIBODIES AND USES THEREOF

The invention relates to antibodies and antigen binding fragments thereof that are capable of binding to influenza B virus hemagglutinin (HA) and neutralizing influenza B virus in two phylogenetically distinct lineages. In one embodiment, the antibody or antigen binding fragment is capable of binding to influenza B virus hemagglutinin and neutralizing influenza B virus in Yamagata and Victoria lineages.

Influenza A virus specific antibodies

The invention relates to isolated, synthetic or recombinant antibodies and functional parts thereof specific for multiple influenza A virus subtypes. The invention further relates to the use of such antibodies for diagnosis of an influenza A virus infection and as a medicament and/or prophylactic agent for at least in part treating or alleviating symptoms of an influenza A virus infection.

Broadly neutralizing human antibody that recognizes the receptor-binding pocket of influenza hemagglutinin

The invention features a novel influenza antibody that specifically binds to influenza hemagglutinin and reduces or inhibits hemagglutinin binding to sialic acid. The invention also provides methods, compositions, and kits featuring the novel antibody and its use in preventing or treating influenza infection.
