20230181714 · 2023-06-15 ·

The present disclosure is directed to antibodies binding to and neutralizing Venezuelan Equine Encephalitis Vims (VEEV) and methods for use thereof.

Targeted prevention of maternal to foetal vertical transmission of infection
11673955 · 2023-06-13 · ·

The present invention relates to targeted prevention of vertical transmission of infection between mother and foetus. More particularly, the invention relates to methods of preventing neonatal Fc receptor (FcRn)-mediated transmission of virus, preferably flavivirus, more preferably Zika virus (ZIKV), from a mother immune to a cross-reactive virus e.g. Dengue virus (DENY) to her foetus, and to reagents that block or inhibit said FcRN-mediated transmission of virus.

ANTIBODY MOLECULES TO ZIKA VIRUS AND USES THEREOF

Antibody molecules that specifically bind to Zika virus are disclosed. The antibody molecules can be used to treat, prevent, and/or diagnose Zika virus infection and disorders associated with Zika virus infection.

Flavivirus neutralizing antibodies and methods of use thereof

The present invention provides antibodies that neutralize flavivirus and methods of use thereof. These antibodies are derived from mAb1 1 which recognizes West Nile virus E protein and is cross-reactive with members of the flavivirus family, including Denge virus. The antibodies of the present invention prevent antibody-dependent enhancement of a viral infection by having a modified Fc region that does not bind to the Fcy receptor. The invented antibody is used to treat flaviviral infections and symptoms thereof.

Humanized monoclonal antibodies that specifically bind and/or neutralize Japanese encephalitis virus (JEV) and their use

Disclosed herein are isolated humanized monoclonal antibodies that specifically bind Japanese encephalitis virus (JEV) with a binding affinity of about 1.0 nM or less. Nucleic acids encoding these antibodies, expression vectors including these nucleic acid molecules, and isolated host cells that express the nucleic acid molecules are also disclosed. Methods of treating, preventing, and/or ameliorating JEV infection in a subject with JEV also are disclosed. Additionally, the antibodies can be used to detect JEV in a sample, and methods of diagnosing JEV infection, or confirming a diagnosis of JEV infection in a subject, are disclosed herein that utilize these antibodies.

NON-HUMAN ANIMALS HAVING A MUTANT KYNURENINASE GENE
20170247436 · 2017-08-31 ·

Non-human animals, methods and compositions for making and using the same, are provided, wherein said non-human animals comprise a mutant L-kynurenine hydrolase (or kynureninase) gene. Said non-human animals may be described, in some embodiments, as having a genetic modification in an endogenous kynureninase gene so that said non-human animals express a kynureninase polypeptide that includes an amino acid substitution that results in the elimination of an epitope in said kynureninase polypeptide that is present in the membrane proximal external region of human immunodeficiency virus-1 gp41.

Methods and compositions for dengue virus serotype 4 epitopes

The present invention provides compositions and methods of use comprising a chimeric dengue virus E glycoprotein comprising a dengue virus E glycoprotein backbone, which comprises amino acid substitutions that introduce a dengue virus E glycoprotein epitope from a dengue virus serotype that is different from the dengue virus serotype of the dengue virus E glycoprotein backbone.

20220306729 · 2022-09-29 ·

Antibodies to Zika virus (ZIKV) and dengue 1 virus (DENV1) are provided. The amino acid sequences of the antibodies may be modified. Methods for prophylaxis and/or therapy by administering the antibodies and combinations thereof are provided. Immunological detection methods using the antibodies are provided. Also provided are vaccine compositions which comprise peptides derived from ZIKV and DENV1.
