ANTIBODIES AGAINST GLUCOCORTICOID-INDUCED TUMOR NECROSIS FACTOR RECEPTOR (GITR) AND USES THEREOF
Provided herein are antibodies, or antigen binding portions thereof, that bind to glucocorticoid-inducible TNF receptor (GITR). Also provided are uses of these proteins in therapeutic applications, such as in the treatment of cancer. Further provided are cells that produce the antibodies, polynucleotides encoding the heavy and/or light chain variable region of the antibodies, and vectors comprising the polynucleotides encoding the heavy and/or light chain variable region of the antibodies.
ANTI-MERTK AGONISTIC ANTIBODIES AND USES THEREOF
The present disclosure provides antibodies that specifically bind to Mer Tyrosine Kinase (MERTK) (e.g., human MERTK, or both human and mouse MERTK) and compositions comprising such antibodies, wherein said antibody agonizes MERTK signaling on endothelial cells. The present disclosure also provides methods for treating cancer, by administering an antibody that specifically binds to MERTK and agonizes MERTK signaling on endothelial cells.
MONOCLONAL ANTIBODY FOR THE DIAGNOSIS, TREATMENT AND/OR PREVENTION OF BRAIN TUMORS AND BRAIN LESIONS
The invention relates to the use of the monoclonal antibody NILO1 for the diagnosis, treatment and/or prevention of brain tumors and lesions. Particularly, the invention relates to methods for the diagnosis of brain tumors and brain lesions in which cells marked with said antibody, or with immunologically active fragments thereof, are detected. The invention also relates to the use of said monoclonal antibody, or immunologically active fragments thereof, as a medicament for the treatment and/or prevention of brain tumors and brain lesions. In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the monoclonal antibody NILO1, or its immunologically active fragments, are humanized.
IgG Bispecific Antibodies and Processes for Preparation
The present invention provides fully IgG bi-specific antibodies comprising designed residues in the interface of the heavy chain-heavy chain (C.sub.H3/C.sub.H3) domains, processes for preparing said fully IgG bi-specific antibodies, and nucleic acids, vectors and host cells encoding the same.
A PHAGE-DISPLAYED SINGLE-CHAIN VARIABLE FRAGMENT LIBRARY
Disclosed herein is a phage-displayed single-chain variable fragment (scFv) library, that comprised a plurality of phage-displayed scFvs characterized with (1) a specific CS combination; (2) a specific distribution of aromatic residues in each CDR; and (3) a specific sequence in each CDR. The present scFv library could be used to efficiently produce different antibodies with binding affinity to different antigens. Accordingly, the present disclosure provides a potential means to generate different antigen-specific antibodies promptly in accordance with the need in experimental researches and/or clinical applications.
ANTI-ACTIVIN A ANTIBODIES AND METHODS OF USE THEREOF FOR TREATING PULMONARY ARTERIAL HYPERTENSION
The present invention provides anti-Activin A antibodies, and antigen-binding fragments thereof, as well as methods of use of such antibodies, or antigen-binding fragments thereof, for treating a subject having pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH).
Immunoglobulin variable domains
VH domain, in which: (i) the amino acid residue at position 112 is one of K or Q; and/or (ii) the amino acid residue at position 89 is T; and/or (iii) the amino acid residue at position 89 is L and the amino acid residue at position 110 is one of K or Q; and (iv) in each of cases (i) to (iii), the amino acid at position 11 is preferably V; and in which said VH domain contains a C-terminal extension (X)n, in which n is 1 to 10, preferably 1 to 5, such as 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 (and preferably 1 or 2, such as 1); and each X is an (preferably naturally occurring) amino acid residue that is independently chosen, and preferably independently chosen from the group consisting of alanine (A), glycine (G), valine (V), leucine (L) or isoleucine (I).
ALK7 binding proteins and uses thereof
This disclosure provides ALK7-binding proteins such as anti-ALK7 antibodies, and compositions and methods for making the ALK7-binding proteins. In certain embodiments the ALK7-binding proteins inhibit, or antagonize ALK7 activity. In addition, the disclosure provides compositions and methods for diagnosing and treating overweight, obesity, diabetes, overweight, obesity, type 2 diabetes, and their associated conditions; metabolic disorders, and other diseases or conditions that can be treated, prevented or ameliorated by targeting ALK7.
CYTOTOXIC BENZODIAZEPINE DERIVATIVES
The invention relates to novel benzodiazepine derivatives with antiproliferative activity and more specifically to novel benzodiazepine compounds of formula (I)-(VI). The invention also provides conjugates of the benzodiazepine compounds linked to a cell-binding agent. The invention further provides compositions and methods useful for inhibiting abnormal cell growth or treating a proliferative disorder in a mammal using the compounds or conjugates of the invention.
METHODS FOR PREPARING ANTIBODY DRUG CONJUGATES
The subject matter described herein is directed to methods of preparing certain antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs) wherein the antibody is linked to the drug through a linker, wherein the drug contains a heteroaryl group having a secondary nitrogen, and the linker is attached to the drug via the secondary nitrogen. The resulting conjugates are useful in treating various diseases and conditions.
