VH domain, in which: (i) the amino acid residue at position 112 is one of K or Q; and/or (ii) the amino acid residue at position 89 is T; and/or (iii) the amino acid residue at position 89 is L and the amino acid residue at position 110 is one of K or Q; and (iv) in each of cases (i) to (iii), the amino acid at position 11 is preferably V; and in which said VH domain contains a C-terminal extension (X)n, in which n is 1 to 10, preferably 1 to 5, such as 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 (and preferably 1 or 2, such as 1); and each X is an (preferably naturally occurring) amino acid residue that is independently chosen, and preferably independently chosen from the group consisting of alanine (A), glycine (G), valine (V), leucine (L) or isoleucine (I).

Methods and compositions for suppressing IgE-mediated anaphylaxis

Methods for suppressing IgE-mediated anaphylaxis are provided herein, which include administering to a person in need thereof a combination of at least two therapeutic agents selected from the group consisting of an antihistamine, one or more beta-adrenergic agonists, and one or more tyrosine kinase antagonists. Also provided herein are methods of suppressing IgE-mediated anaphylaxis associated with immunotherapeutic desensitization of a subject, and pharmaceutical compositions for suppressing IgE-mediated anaphylaxis.

Use of IGG1 immunoglobulins and/or ligands of the CD32 receptor for treating inflammatory diseases and incidents via the mucosa

The present invention concerns the use of immunoglobulins of IgG.sub.1 type, and more generally of ligands of the CD32 receptor, for the treatment of inflammatory diseases and manifestations, in particular of allergies and auto-immune diseases, more particularly the treatment of allergic asthma, the immunoglobulins and ligands being administered via mucosal route, in particular via sublingual route.

MODIFIED PRODUCT OF FC DOMAIN OF ANTIBODY
20220048981 · 2022-02-17 ·

The present invention is directed to a variant of a parent polypeptide containing an Fc region of a dog or cat IgG, that shows a higher binding activity to a dog or cat neonatal Fc receptor (FcRn) than a binding activity of the parent polypeptide to a dog or cat FcRn, wherein the Fc region contains at least one amino acid modification. The variant shows an enhanced FcRn binding activity under acidic conditions. Using the variant, therefore, an antibody (IgG) and Fc fusion protein having longer retention in plasma can be provided.

COMPOSITIONS AND METHODS FOR TREATING OR PREVENTING LUPUS
20170275617 · 2017-09-28 ·

The present disclosure provides methods for inhibiting and/or reducing self-reactive IgE and/or basophils, thereby treating or preventing lupus, lupus nephritis, and lupus-related disorders.

RAPID CLEARANCE OF ANTIGEN COMPLEXES USING NOVEL ANTIBODIES
20170247470 · 2017-08-31 · ·

The present invention relates to immunoglobulins that bind IgE and FcγRIIb with high affinity, said compositions being capable of inhibiting cells that express membrane-anchored IgE. Such compositions are useful for treating IgE-mediated disorders, including allergies and asthma.

PAN-ANTIALLERGY VACCINE
20220040296 · 2022-02-10 · ·

The invention is directed to a protein construct comprising a scaffold protein into which an IgE epitope containing motif is inserted or substituted. The protein construct may be used as an antigen, immunogen or vaccine to induce immune responses against IgE in a vaccinated subject thereby reducing the severity of allergic phenomena associated with IgE. The invention is also directed to a method for designing such a protein construct and expressing it using recombinant DNA methods.

Rapid clearance of antigen complexes using novel antibodies

The present invention relates to rapid clearance molecules that bind target antigens and FcγRIIb with increased affinity as compared to parent molecules, the compositions being capable of causing accelerated clearance of such antigens. Such compositions are useful for treating a variety of disorders, including allergic diseases, atherosclerosis, and a variety of other conditions.

Antibodies that bind activatable antibodies and methods of use thereof

The invention relates generally to antibodies and antigen-binding fragments thereof that bind activatable antibodies and/or conjugated activatable antibodies and methods of making and using these antibodies that bind activatable antibodies and/or conjugated activatable antibodies.
