The invention relates to a process for the production of an elastomer agglomerate composition, comprising: forcing a slurry through an aperture in a valve assembly (1) to obtain the elastomer agglomerate composition; wherein the valve assembly (1) comprises the valve (2) and a seat (3) that are arranged opposite each other to provide a flow channel for the slurry to be homogenized with an emulsifying channel section (5) that is provided with the aperture; wherein the emulsifying flow channel section is arranged at an angle (a) with respect to an axial center line of the valve in a cross sectional view of the valve assembly; and wherein the slurry comprises elastomeric particles in water.

METHOD FOR PREPARING CONJUGATED DIENE-BASED POLYMER AND METHOD FOR PREPARING GRAFT COPOLYMER INCLUDING THE SAME

Provided are a method for preparing a conjugated diene-based polymer and a method for preparing a graft copolymer including the same. The method for preparing a conjugated diene-based polymer includes enlarging a first conjugated diene-based polymer in multiple stages to prepare a second conjugated diene-based polymer, wherein the multi-stage enlargement includes a primary enlargement stage and a secondary enlargement stage, and a weight ratio of acids added in the primary enlargement stage and the secondary enlargement stage is 70:30 to 90:10. A graft copolymer prepared by the above-described method can be used to form a thermoplastic resin molded article excellent in all of plating characteristics, mechanical properties, surface characteristics, colorability, and processability.

SOLIDIFICATION OF A NATURAL RUBBER LATEX BY POLYQUATERNARY POLYMERS

The present invention relates to a solidification process of the natural rubber latex by means of polyquaternary polymers. The process of the present invention has the advantage to not require the addition of acids and/or salts, with an evident saving in terms of cost for the reagents. Furthermore, in such a way neither the neutralization step of the rubber nor the treatment of the processing water before their disposal are required. The process of the present invention is suitable both for the continuous and batchwise embodiment, with evident advantages as far as its industrial application is concerned.
