Provided is a chlorinated polyvinyl chloride resin having an average of a ratio (A/B) of a peak intensity A observed in a range of 300 to 340 cm.sup.-1 to a peak intensity B observed in a range of 1,450 to 1,550 cm.sup.-1 of 0.1 or more and 3.5 or less in Raman imaging measurement by Raman spectroscopy.
