POWDER DISPERSION AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING COMPOSITE
To provide a powder dispersion comprising a tetrafluoroethylene polymer, a particular polyoxyalkylene-modified polydimethylsiloxane and a liquid dispersion medium, and a composite having a baked product having physical properties intrinsic to the tetrafluoroethylene polymer. [Solution] The powder dispersion of the present invention comprises a powder of a tetrafluorethylene polymer, a liquid dispersion medium and a polyoxyalkylene-modified polydimethylsiloxane having a weight average molecular weight of at most 3,000 and an HLB value of from 1 to 18 calculated by Griffin's equation The composite of the present invention is produced by applying the powder dispersion of the present invention to the surface of a substrate and heating the powder dispersion.
Fluorine-containing mixture material and fluorine-containing super-oleophobic microporous membrane using same as raw material, and preparation method therefor and use thereof
This disclosure provides a fluorine-containing mixture and a fluorine-containing super-oleophobic microporous membrane using the fluorine-containing mixture as a raw material, as well as preparation methods and applications for the fluorine-containing mixture and the fluorine-containing super-oleophobic microporous membrane. The fluorine-containing mixture of the present disclosure comprises, by weight percentage, the following components: Component A: 50%˜90%; Component B: 3%˜25%; Component C: 0%˜35%; Component D: 0%˜3%; wherein Component A comprises high molecular weight polytetrafluoroethylene homopolymer or copolymer dispersion resin; Component B comprises one or more fluorine-containing alkyl acrylate monomers; Component C comprises one or more fluorine-free acrylates; Component D comprises high temperature free radical initiator. There's no need to add inflammable or explosive lubricating oil, making the process highly safe; and the obtained fluorine-containing super-oleophobic microporous membrane has high waterproof, air-permeable, oil-resistant and washable performance, in line with the needs of a new generation of waterproof and air-permeable protective clothing.
ULTRA-LOW TEMPERATURE ELASTOMERIC FLUOROPOLYMER COMPOSITIONS AND PROCESSES FOR PREPARING THE SAME
An elastomeric fluoropolymer includes the following monomer units: about 45 mol % to about 65 mol % —CF.sub.2—CH.sub.2—; about 8 mol % to about 30 mol % —CF.sub.2—CF.sub.2—; about 4.5 mol % to about 25 mol % —CF.sub.2—CF(O—CF.sub.3)—; and about 6 mol % to about 20 mol % —CF.sub.2—CF(O—CF.sub.2—CF.sub.2—O—(CF.sub.2—O).sub.n—CF.sub.3)—, where n is 1 or 2. In some embodiments, a composition includes an elastomeric fluoropolymer and at least one additive. In some embodiments, a composition includes a first elastomeric fluoropolymer and a second elastomeric fluoropolymer blended with the first elastomeric fluoropolymer. The first elastomeric fluoropolymer includes the following monomer units: about 45 mol % to about 65 mol % —CF.sub.2—CH.sub.2—; about 8 mol % to about 30 mol % —CF.sub.2—CF.sub.2—; about 4.5 mol % to about 25 mol % —CF.sub.2—CF(O—CF.sub.3)—; and about 6 mol % to about 20 mol % —CF.sub.2—CF(O—CF.sub.2—CF.sub.2—O—(CF.sub.2—O).sub.n—CF.sub.3)—, where n is 1 or 2.
RESIN COMPOSITION, MOLDED ARTICLE, AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING MOLDED ARTICLE
A resin composition containing: a melt-fabricable fluororesin containing at least one functional group selected from a carbonyl group-containing group and a hydroxy group; at least one fluorine-free resin selected from a liquid crystal polymer, a polyarylene sulfide, and an aromatic polyether ketone; and particulate boron nitride, wherein the particulate boron nitride is contained in an amount of 30 to 65% by volume.
ELECTRICAL WIRE FOR IN-VEHICLE NETWORK CABLE, AND IN-VEHICLE NETWORK CABLE
An electric wire for an in-vehicle network cable, including a conductor and a covering that covers a periphery of the conductor. The electric wire has a diameter of 0.5 to 1.5 mm. The covering contains a fluororesin that is a tetrafluoroethylene/hexafluoropropylene/perfluoro(alkyl vinyl ether) copolymer. The fluororesin has a melt flow rate of 20 to 40 g/10 min measured at 372° C. under a 5-kg load, a relative permittivity of 2.2 or lower measured at 25° C. and 6 GHz, a melting point of 250° C. or higher, an MIT folding endurance of 2000 times or more, and a tensile elongation at 150° C. of 300% or higher. Also disclosed is an in-vehicle network cable including the electric wire and an in-vehicle network cable including a twisted pair of electric wires, at least one of which is the above-described electric wire for an in-vehicle network cable.

An electric wire for an in-vehicle network cable, including a conductor and a covering that covers a periphery of the conductor. The electric wire has a diameter of 0.5 to 1.5 mm. The covering contains a fluororesin that is a tetrafluoroethylene/hexafluoropropylene/perfluoro(alkyl vinyl ether) copolymer. METHOD FOR PRODUCING FLUORINE-CONTAINING POLYMER, AQUEOUS DISPERSION LIQUID OF FLUORINE-CONTAINING POLYMER, AND POLYMER COMPOSITION
To provide a method for producing a fluorinated polymer which does not require an emulsifier as an essential component while an aqueous medium with little environmental burden is used. A method for producing a fluorinated polymer, which comprises polymerizing at least one fluorinated polymer selected from tetrafluoroethylene, chlorotrifluoroethylene and vinylidene fluoride, in an aqueous medium in the presence of a specific polymer having at least one type of units selected from units based on a compound represented by the formula (1) and units based on a compound represented by the formula (2) to produce a fluorinated polymer (provided that when tetrafluoroethylene is polymerized, tetrafluoroethylene is polymerized so that the content of units based on tetrafluoroethylene in the fluorinated polymer becomes less than 99 mass % to all units in the fluorinated polymer):
