A liquid repellent composition comprising a fluorinated polymer and an aqueous medium, wherein the fluorinated polymer comprises units based on a monomer a, units based on a monomer b and units based on a monomer c. Monomer a: a compound represented by CH.sub.2═CH—R.sup.f (wherein R.sup.f is a C.sub.1-8 perfluoroalkyl group). Monomer b: a fluorine-free nonionic surfactant having a polymerizable carbon-carbon double bond. Monomer c: another monomer copolymerizable with the monomer a and the monomer b.

A water- and oil-proofing composition comprising a fluorinated polymer and an aqueous medium, wherein the fluorinated polymer comprises units based on a monomer a and units based on a monomer b. Monomer a: a compound represented by CH.sub.2═CH—R.sup.f (wherein R.sup.f is a C.sub.1-8 perfluoroalkyl group). Monomer b: a compound having a polymerizable unsaturated group and a cationic group.

A water- and oil-proofing composition stable under highly alkaline conditions is provided. Monomer mixture and curable composition containing same
The present invention is to provide a monomer mixture that is cured rapidly even in the presence of oxygen and that forms a cured product having high hardness and excellent adhesion to metals and/or glass. The monomer mixture according to an embodiment of the present invention contains two or more types of cationically polymerizable monomers. As the cationically polymerizable monomers, the monomer mixture contains at least 10 wt. %, based on a total amount of the monomer mixture, of a compound having at least one cationically polymerizable group selected from the group consisting of a vinyl ether group, an epoxy group, and an oxetanyl group, and at least one hydroxy group in a molecule, and at least 5 wt. %, based on the total amount of the monomer mixture, of a compound represented by Formula (b). In the formula, R represents an s-valent straight-chain or branched saturated aliphatic hydrocarbon group or an s-valent group having two or more straight-chain or branched saturated aliphatic hydrocarbon groups bonded to each other through an ether bond, and s represents an integer of 2 or greater.
FLUORINE-CONTAINING POLYMER FOR METAL-CLAD LAMINATED SHEET, COMPOSITION FOR METAL-CLAD LAMINATED SHEET, CURABLE COMPOSITION, METAL-CLAD LAMINATED SHEET AND PRINTED SUBSTRATE
A fluorine-containing polymer for a metal-clad laminated sheet, containing: a polymerized unit based on a fluorine-containing vinyl monomer; and a polymerized unit based on a vinyl ester monomer other than the fluorine-containing vinyl monomer. The fluorine-containing polymer contains not more than 1 mol % in total of a polymerized unit based on a monomer containing a hydroxy group and a polymerized unit based on a monomer containing a carboxy group, of all polymerized units. Also disclosed is a composition containing the fluorine-containing polymer, a curable composition containing the fluorine-containing polymer and an epoxy resin, a metal-clad laminated sheet including a metal foil and a resin layer provided on the metal foil and being formed of the curable composition, and a printed substrate including a patterned circuit formed by etching the metal foil of the metal-clad laminated sheet.
FLUORINE-CONTAINING POLYMER FOR METAL-CLAD LAMINATED SHEET, COMPOSITION FOR METAL-CLAD LAMINATED SHEET, CURABLE COMPOSITION, METAL-CLAD LAMINATED SHEET AND PRINTED SUBSTRATE
A fluorine-containing polymer for a metal-clad laminated sheet, containing: a polymerized unit based on a fluorine-containing vinyl monomer; and a polymerized unit based on a vinyl ester monomer other than the fluorine-containing vinyl monomer. The fluorine-containing polymer contains not more than 1 mol % in total of a polymerized unit based on a monomer containing a hydroxy group and a polymerized unit based on a monomer containing a carboxy group, of all polymerized units. Also disclosed is a composition containing the fluorine-containing polymer, a curable composition containing the fluorine-containing polymer and an epoxy resin, a metal-clad laminated sheet including a metal foil and a resin layer provided on the metal foil and being formed of the curable composition, and a printed substrate including a patterned circuit formed by etching the metal foil of the metal-clad laminated sheet.

To provide a fluorinated elastic copolymer and a fluorinated elastic copolymer composition, whereby it is possible to obtain a crosslinked rubber article which has practically sufficient rubber physical properties and which is, at the same time, excellent in low-temperature characteristics; a crosslinked rubber article; and a method for producing a fluorinated elastic copolymer. The fluorinated elastic copolymer comprises units based on tetrafluoroethylene, units based on CF.sub.2═CFOR.sup.f1 (R.sup.f1 is a C.sub.1-10 perfluoroalkyl group), units based on CF.sub.2═CF(OCF.sub.2CF.sub.2).sub.n—(OCF.sub.2).sub.m—OR.sup.f2 (R.sup.f2 is a C.sub.1-4 perfluoroalkyl group, n is an integer of from 0 to 3, m is an integer of from 0 to 4, and n+m is an integer of from 1 to 7), and units based on a fluorinated monomer having at least two polymerizable unsaturated bonds.

To provide a fluorinated elastic copolymer and a fluorinated elastic copolymer composition, whereby it is possible to obtain a crosslinked rubber article which has practically sufficient rubber physical properties and which is, at the same time, excellent in low-temperature characteristics; a crosslinked rubber article; and a method for producing a fluorinated elastic copolymer. WATER REPELLENT OIL REPELLENT AGENT COMPOSITION, METHOD FOR PRODUCING SAME, AND ARTICLE
Provided is a water repellent oil repellent agent composition capable of producing an article having excellent oil repellency. A water repellent oil repellent agent composition containing a fluorine-containing polymer comprising a unit based on a monomer (a) shown below and a unit based on a monomer (b) shown below.
Monomer (a): a compound represented by CH.sub.2═CH—[CH.sub.2CH.sub.2].sub.p—[CF.sub.2CF.sub.2].sub.q—[OCF.sub.2CF(CF.sub.3)].sub.r—O—C.sub.3F.sub.7
In the formula, p represents an integer of 0 to 4, q represents an integer of 1 to 4, and r represents an integer of 1 to 4.
Monomer (b): another monomer that is copolymerizable with the monomer (a).
