Rubber composition and sealing part for high pressure hydrogen apparatus using same
A rubber composition is, in particular, suitable for producing a sealing part for a high pressure hydrogen apparatus having excellent low temperature sealing properties and blister resistance, and the sealing part for a high pressure hydrogen apparatus is obtained by using the rubber composition. A rubber composition includes an ethylene/butene/ethylidene norbornene terpolymer (EBENB), and the rubber composition is for use in producing a sealing part for a high pressure hydrogen apparatus.
BENZOTRIAZOLE COMPOUND
Provided is a benzotriazole compound that efficiently absorbs ray having a long wavelength of 360-400 nm, i) having excellent solubility in a monomer of a resin raw material, being dissolvable at a high concentration, polymerizing at excellent reactivity, and yielding a high-molecular-weight resin member and a transparent resin member, or ii) having exceptional heat resistance. This benzotriazole compound is represented by formula (I), where at least one of R.sup.1-R.sup.9 is represented by formula (i-1), (where R.sup.10 and R11 are hydrocarbon groups, etc., and R.sup.12 is represented by formula (i-2) or formula (i-3) (in formula (i-2), A.sup.1 represents a divalent group selected from nitrogen-Containing groups, oxygen-containing groups, sulfur-containing groups, phosphorus-containing groups, and phenylene groups, and R.sup.12a-R.sup.12c and X represent hydrocarbon groups, etc.; and in formula (i-3), A.sup.2 represents a divalent group selected from nitrogen-containing groups, oxygen-containing groups, sulfur-containing groups, and phosphorus-containing groups, and X.sup.a and X.sup.b represent hydrocarbon groups, etc.)).

Method for manufacturing copolymer and rubber composition containing the same
According to an embodiment of the present invention, there is provided a method of preparing a copolymer which includes (a) polymerizing an aromatic vinyl monomer and a conjugated diene-based monomer in the presence of a solvent, a first randomizing agent, and a catalyst to prepare a first copolymer including the aromatic vinyl monomer in an amount of 15 to 40 wt %; and (b) reacting the first copolymer with one or more of a second randomizing agent different from the first randomizing agent and an additional aromatic vinyl monomer to prepare a second copolymer.

A process for preparing a random copolymer based on at least one acyclic diene monomers and on at least one cyclic diene monomer is provided. The process comprises a step of copolymerization, in the presence of a polar agent and an anionic initiator in a polymerization solvent, of at least one acyclic diene monomer and of at least one cyclic diene monomer of which one CC double bond is endocyclic and conjugated to an exocyclic CC double bond, at a polymerization temperature below 80 C. A molar ratio of the polar agent/function(s) of the anionic initiator capable of initiating anionic polymrization being greater than 0.1.
