Polyurethane foams co-blown with a mixture of a hydrocarbon and a halogenated olefin
This invention relates to rigid polyurethane foams which are co-blown with a mixture of a hydrocarbon blowing agent and a halogenated olefin blowing agent. This invention also relates to a process for preparing these rigid polyurethane foams, and to an isocyanate-reactive component containing a polyol blend and the mixture of blowing agents. Phase stable isocyanate-reactive blends are also described.
POLYURETHANE FOAMS FOR COMFORT APPLICATIONS
Polyurethane foams that are hydrophilic but nonetheless have low compression sets are made from a combination of MDI and TDI prepolymers, water, and a polymer polyol. The foams optionally are made incorporating a phase change material in the foam formulation. The phase change material does not require encapsulation.
SEALER COMPOSITION FOR COATING FILM WITH IMPROVED APPEARANCE QUALITY
Disclosed are a sealer composition and a coating film with improved appearance quality. The sealer composition for a coating film includes a polyol mixture containing a polyester polyol and a polyether polyol in a predetermined ratio, an isocyanate compound including a blocked isocyanate, and a curing catalyst and the coating film prepared from the sealer composition has improved appearance quality as well as improved abrasion resistance.
Aqueous polyurethane dispersion adhesive compositions
An aqueous polyurethane dispersion compositions are disclosed. The compositions include a polyurethane prepolymer dispersed in an aqueous medium, the polyurethane prepolymer comprising an isocyanate and a crystalline polyester polyol having a hydroxyl content of 20 to 150 mg KOH/g and a melt temperature of less than or equal to 90° C. Methods of forming a laminate are also disclosed. The methods include providing an aqueous polyurethane dispersion, applying the polyurethane dispersion to a surface of the first substrate, bringing the side of the first substrate into contract with a surface of the second substrate, and curing the aqueous dispersion, thereby laminating the first substrate to the second substrate. Laminates formed by the methods and including the compositions are also disclosed.

An activator portion B includes a polyol-modified isocyanate that is a reaction product of a polyisocyanate component and a polyol component. The polyol component includes polycaprolactone polyol.
Fibre reinforcement of reactive foams obtained by a moulding foam method
The present invention relates to a molding made of reactive foam, wherein at least one fiber (F) is arranged partially inside the molding, i.e. is surrounded by the reactive foam. The two ends of the respective fiber (F) not surrounded by the reactive foam thus each project from one side of the corresponding molding. The reactive foam is produced by a mold foaming process. The present invention further provides a panel comprising at least one such molding and at least one further layer (S1). The present invention further provides processes for producing the moldings according to the invention from reactive foam/the panels according to the invention and also provides for the use thereof as a rotor blade in wind turbines for example.
