SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR DETECTION AND PREVENTION OF EMERGENCE OF AGITATION
Disclosed in the present disclosure is a method, system and apparatus for prediction, estimation and prevention of occurrence of agitation episode in a subject predisposed to agitation. The method comprises receiving, from a first monitoring device attached to a subject, physiological data of sympathetic nervous system activity in the subject and activity data of the subject; receiving, from a computing device, a plurality of indications associated with a plurality of agitation episodes of the subject; analyzing, using at least one machine learning model, the physiological data, the activity data, and the plurality of indications to determine a probability of an occurrence of an agitation episode of the subject; and sending a signal to a second monitoring device to notify the second monitoring device of the probability of the occurrence of the agitation episode of the subject such that treatment can be provided to the subject to decrease sympathetic nervous system activity in the subject.
COGNITIVE ASSESSMENT SYSTEM BASED ON EYE MOVEMENT
A cognitive assessment system includes a computing device, a server coupled to the computing device and an eye tracking device coupled to the computing device. The computing device includes a cognitive assessment program with at least one cognitive assessment task for assessing at least one cognitive function of a user. The server includes a database. The database stores a historical task performance data of the user, a historical task performance model of the user, task performance data of a healthy population, and task performance data of a patient population. The eye tracking device is for capturing the eye movement data of the user.
Smart vehicle
A method of providing safety in a level 3 autonomous vehicle by mounting a plurality of cameras in a vehicular cabin to detect edges; translating the edges into motions of a human or a biological entity; and monitoring safety conditions for the human or biological entity.
Arousal state estimation apparatus and arousal state estimation method
An arousal state estimation apparatus includes: a feature value acquisition unit acquiring a plurality of types of feature values regarding an arousal state of a human body from physiological data obtained by measuring the human body; and an estimation unit estimating the arousal state of the human body by using a principal feature value that is some type among the plurality of types of feature values. In a case where the principal feature value is unacquirable due to a defect of the physiological data, the estimation unit estimates the arousal state of the human body by using a different type of feature value than the principal feature value among the plurality of types of feature values acquired by the feature value acquisition unit instead of the unacquirable principal feature value.
System and method for biometric monitoring and educational analysis optimization using artificial intelligence
Systems and methods for educational analysis optimization. The system includes a camera, a processor and memory. The memory stores instructions to execute a method. The method begins with receiving a request from a user at a client device to begin a stimulus session. Then, video recording of the user for the stimulus session is initialized. Next, calibrations for emotions and gaze are set. Then, one or more stimuli are presented to the user. Cues and reactions are recorded and mapped to content that was displayed during the times of recorded reactions and cues. The recordings are post-processed for educational analysis and feedback is provided to the user. The feedback and analysis can be optimized using a predictive artificial intelligence model.
A SYSTEM, APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR MEASURING DYNAMIC VISUAL, VESTIBULAR AND SOMATOSENSORY ABILITY
An apparatus for making combined vestibular and somatosensory function assessments, comprising: a portable base unit comprising: a movable platform being at least partially rotatable about an axis of rotation; in use, a user stands with both feet on the movable platform; an adjustable stopping mechanism for adjusting an extent to which the movable platform can rotate in at least one direction with respect to a horizontal plane; and a controller for controlling the adjustable stopping mechanism to selectively adjust the extent to which the movable platform is rotated by one of a plurality of discrete measurable amounts based on a control signal; a visual occlusion headset worn by the user, the headset comprising a device for recording a vestibular function response in response to a vestibular function test.
PHYSIOLOGICAL AND BEHAVIOURAL METHODS TO ASSESS PILOT READINESS
A system and method for automatically assessing pilot readiness via a plurality of biometric sensors includes continuously receiving biometric data including vision-based data; the biometric vision-based data is compared to a task specific set of movements and facial expressions as defined by known anchor points. A deviation is calculated based on the vision-based data and task specific set of movements and expressions, and the deviation is compared to an acceptable threshold for pilot readiness. Other biometric data may be included to refine the readiness assessment.
IMPAIREMENT SCREENING SYSTEM AND METHOD
A system for screening impairment of a subject includes an imaging device and a display connected to a controller, the controller configured to send a first eye test signal to the imaging device and a second eye test signal to the display to initiate an eye test, and further configured to receive an eye test feedback signal based on captured images of subject eye movement during the eye test. The controller is configured to send a first cognitive test signal to the imaging device and a second cognitive test signal to the display to initiate a cognitive test, and is further configured to receive a cognitive test feedback signal based on captured images of subject eye movement during the cognitive test. A balance sensor is connected to the controller, the controller configured to receive a balance test feedback signal from the balance sensor indicative of subject movement during a balance test. A physiological sensor is connected to the controller, the controller configured to receive a physiological activity feedback signal from the physiological sensor indicative of subject physiological activity. The controller is configured to generate an impairment indication based on the eye test feedback signal, the cognitive test feedback signal, the balance test feedback signal, and the physiological activity feedback signal. A method for screening impairment of a subject is also disclosed.
