Polymer compositions containing an ethylene polymer, 50-1500 ppm by weight of a glycerol stearate, and 250-7500 ppm by weight of an antioxidant selected from a phenolic antioxidant, a phosphite antioxidant, a thioester antioxidant, or any combination thereof, are described. These polymer compositions have improved initial color, improved color after long-term aging, or improved color after multi-pass extrusion processing.

Resin composition, masterbatch pellets, and molded resin composition product and method for producing the same

Provided are a resin composition and masterbatch pellets, which enable a molded resin composition product to improve both flexural modulus and Izod impact strength, and a molded resin composition product having both improved flexural modulus and improved Izod impact strength, and a method for producing the same. The resin composition includes 45 to 95 mass % of an olefin polymer, 1 to 50 mass % of fibrous basic magnesium sulfate, 0.00001 to 0.8 mass % of spherical silica particles, and 0.1 to 10 mass % of a lubricant. Also, the masterbatch pellets are for production of the resin composition by kneading the masterbatch pellets with a diluent containing olefin polymer, and the masterbatch pellets contain 10 to 50 mass % of an olefin polymer, 35 to 80 mass % of fibrous basic magnesium sulfate, 0.00005 to 5.0 mass % of spherical silica particles, and 0.5 to 10 mass % of a lubricant.

In an embodiment, a slit film tape composition includes a propylene-based elastomer comprising 1-16 wt % ethylene based on a total weight of the propylene-based elastomer, the propylene-based elastomer having a melt flow rate (MFR) of 1-50 g/10 min; a polypropylene comprising 10-100 mol % propylene based on a total weight of the polypropylene, the polypropylene having a MFR of 2-35 g/10 min; and a filler. In another embodiment, a slit film tape composition includes a propylene-based elastomer comprising from 5-30 wt % ethylene based on a total weight of the propylene-based elastomer, the propylene-based elastomer having a MFR of 35-60 g/10 min; a polypropylene comprising 10-100 mol % propylene based on a total weight of the polypropylene, the polypropylene having a MFR of 2-35 g/10 min; and a filler.

Polyethylene compositions

According to at least one embodiment of the present disclosure, polyethylene formulations and modified polyethylene compositions are provided. Embodiments of the polyethylene formulation may include a free radical generator; and a multimodal polyethylene composition. The multimodal polyethylene composition may include a peak in a temperature range of 95° C. to 120° C. in the elution profile via improved comonomer composition distribution (iCCD), wherein a polyethylene fraction area is an area in the elution profile beneath the peak of the polyethylene fraction between 95° C. and 120° C., and wherein the polyethylene fraction area comprises at least 20% of the total area of the elution profile and a molecular weight (M.sub.w) of less than 80,000 g/mol in the temperature range of from 95° C. to 120° C. on an elution profile via iCCD. The modified polyethylene composition may be the reaction product of the free radical generator and the multimodal polyethylene composition.

The kneading is performed using a roll or a kneader when the fluororubber composition is produced. The fluororubber composition can provide a fluororubber crosslinked molded article that exhibits abrasion resistance and blister resistance.
