The present invention relates to a composition for forming a conductive pattern by irradiation of electromagnetic waves capable of allowing excellent formation of a conductive micro-pattern on various polymer resin products comprising a polycarbonate resin or on resin layers by a simple method such as irradiation of electromagnetic waves and plating, and capable of reducing the degradation of the physical properties of the resin products or resin layers caused by the irradiation of electromagnetic waves, a method for forming a conductive pattern using the same, and a resin structure having a conductive pattern. The composition for forming a conductive pattern by irradiation of electromagnetic waves comprises: a polymer resin comprising a polycarbonate resin; and an electromagnetic wave-absorbing inorganic additive which absorbs an electromagnetic wave having a wavelength in the infrared region and satisfies the characteristic that a laser sensitivity Ls defined by a predetermined relational expression is 1.6<−log(Ls)<6.0.
Method for the partial colouring of plastic parts
The present invention relates to an improved method for the partial colouring, in particular for the coloured laser engraving, of plastic parts, in particular thermoplastic plastic parts, more particularly thermoplastic plastic parts, comprising a layer structure, and to the resulting partially coloured, preferably coloured and laser engraved, plastic parts, in particular thermoplastic plastic parts.
Laminate and method for producing laminate
An object of the present invention is to provide a laminate having a fiber layer comprising ultrafine cellulose fibers and a resin layer, wherein the two layers have more excellent adhesion properties. The present invention relates to a laminate having at least one fiber layer comprising cellulose fibers with a fiber width of 1000 nm or less, and at least one resin layer that is contacted with one surface of the fiber layer, wherein the resin layer has an adhesion aid.
USE OF POLYPHENOL COMPOUNDS AND HYDROPHILIC POLYMERS FOR REDUCING OR PREVENTING COLLOIDS ADHESION AND/OR FOULING ON A SUBSTRATE
The present disclosure relates to a method for reducing or preventing colloids adhesion and/or fouling on a substrate in need thereof by forming a coating having a first layer that includes a polyphenol compound, and a second layer that includes a hydrophilic polymer having repeating units derived from one or more zwitterionic monomers, typically one or more betaine monomers, on the substrate. The present disclosure also relates to the coating made thereby and an article having the said coating.
LIGHTWEIGHT POLYMER BOTTLE FOR WINE AND SPIRITS
A container for alcohol, e.g., a wine bottle, formed of a polycarbonate wall sandwiched between exterior and interior coatings, at least one of which may be an epoxy of 4,4′-isopropylidenedicyclohexanol and 1-chloro-2,3,-epoxypropane, crosslinked with 3-aminopropyltriethoxysilane. The polycarbonate wall may be an extrusion blow molded monolithic form at least 1.5 mm thick, and either or both of the exterior coating and the interior coating may have a thickness between 1 nm and 100 μm, inclusive.
POLYMER FILM COATED WITH A LAYER OF SILANE COUPLING AGENT
It is provided that a polymer film; a preparation method of the polymer film; and a laminated body used the polymer film. The polymer film is suitable for use in producing a laminate body which comprises a support and a polymer film, and is reduced in foreign-matter trapping and which can be used for supplying film devices using conventional apparatuses for glass substrates or silicon substrates. The polymer film coated with the layer of silane coupling agent, which is suitable for producing a laminate that comprises a support and a polymer film, comprises a silane coupling agent layer formed on at least one surface of the polymer film, wherein the silane coupling agent layer has a three-dimensional surface roughness (Sa) of 5.0 nm or less. The method of efficient for producing the polymer film coated with the above layer is the method for producing without using a vacuum.
Method for improving the water tolerance of bio-based CNF-films
The present invention relates to a continuous roll-to-roll process for improving the water tolerance of bio-based polymers, in particular cellulose nanofibrils (CNF) films. Furthermore, the invention provides a method, which combines surface modification/functionalization for improving water stability and wet strength, UV/Ozone treatment, corona treatment or plasma activation for purifying and activating the surface and thus increasing the reaction efficiency, and further hydrophobization of the surface of CNF film.
ANTIBACTERIAL/ANTIFUNGAL FINISHED PRODUCT PRODUCTION METHOD, AND ANTIBACTERIAL/ANTIFUNGAL FINISHED PRODUCT PRODUCED BY THE METHOD
According to the present disclosure, a resin product is brought into contact with a treatment liquid containing an antibacterial antifungal compound (A) of a quaternary ammonium salt compound having a molecular weight of not greater than 1500 and, in this state, heat-treated under a normal atmospheric pressure or under an increased pressure, whereby the antibacterial antifungal compound (A) is immobilized on at least a surface of the resin product. Thus, an excellent antibacterial/antifungal finished product having water resistance and laundry durability is provided.
COATING OF A SURFACE
This invention describes a dispersion for coating a polymer surface comprising polyglycerol esters and a surfactant being a neutralized or partially neutralised fatty acid or a neutralized or partially neutralized ester of fatty acids. The dispersion can be diluted into a coating composition, which can be applied as a coating on a polymer surface. The coating has anti-static and anti-fogging effects and can be used for for example a variety of different packaging materials.
