Scuff resistant decorative surface coverings
The present invention is related to decorative surface coverings, in particular floor or wall coverings, comprising one or more layer(s) and a cured top-layer, combining excellent anti-slip properties and scuff resistance. The invention is further related to a method for the preparation of said surface coverings.
Low-gloss cured product having excellent stain resistance, and manufacturing method therefor
The present invention relates to a cured product having excellent stain resistance and low gloss, a method of manufacturing the same, and an interior material including the cured product. The cured product according to the present invention is formed by sequentially applying light in different specific wavelength ranges to a composition to cure the composition, thereby being capable of realizing a low gloss of 9 or less, based on a 60 degree gloss meter, without use of a matting agent and excellent stain resistance and exhibiting excellent abrasion resistance. Accordingly, the cured product may be usefully used as an interior material such as a flooring material.
METHOD FOR PREPARING DURABLY HYDROPHILIC AND UNIFORM-PORE ULTRAFILTRATION MEMBRANE
A method for preparing a durably hydrophilic and uniform-pore ultrafiltration membrane is disclosed herein. Chemical reactions between the functional groups and the active bonds of the molecular chains in the membrane materials are initiated perform the grafting of hydrophilic chains on the polymer chains under conventional dissolution conditions of the polymer membrane material (dissolution with synchronized hydrophilization), so as to realize durable hydrophilization of the membrane materials. The resulting hydrophilized polymer solution (a nascent-state membrane) is introduced into a coagulation bath to initiate a crosslinking reaction among the hydrophilic chains. The resulting crosslinking serves to synergistically regulate subsequent phase separation and membrane formation (phase separation under synergistic crosslinking).
BIODEGRADABLE COMPOSITION, BIODEGRADABLE WRAP FILM AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF
A biodegradable composition, a biodegradable wrap film and a manufacturing method thereof are provided. The biodegradable wrap film includes an inner layer, at least one interlayer formed on the inner layer, and an outer layer formed on the interlayer. The inner layer, the at least one interlayer formed on the inner layer, and the outer layer are respectively formed by the biodegradable composition. The biodegradable composition includes 50 to 98.9 wt % of a polyolefin resin, 1 to 49.9 wt % of a biodegradable polymer and 0.1 to 5 wt % of an organic degradation aid.
Recovering heavy hydrocarbons from plastic materials and geoformation
Sometimes, a problem is obvious, everyone sees it, but nothing happens until someone decides to do something useful about it. Methods are herein provided for recovering heavy hydrocarbons from plastic materials and/or geo-formation. In one solution set, PVC waste materials are emulsified by an amine solvent in an aqueous phase, thereby extracting heavier hydrocarbons from the primary structure of PVC into the amine aqueous phase; followed by de-emulsifying the extracted heavier hydrocarbons by separating and recovering the amine solvent, and then separating the de-emulsified heavier hydrocarbons from the aqueous phase by a hydrophobic membrane.
POST-TREATMENT METHOD OF VINYL CHLORIDE-BASED POLYMER AND CLOSED POST-TREATMENT SYSTEM FOR THE SAME
The present invention provides a post-treatment method of a vinyl chloride-based polymer including: (a) preparing a stream containing vinyl chloride-based polymer powder and unreacted vinyl chloride-based monomers by drying a vinyl chloride-based polymer latex in a drying unit; (b) filtering the stream containing the vinyl chloride-based polymer powder and the unreacted vinyl chloride-based monomers in a filtering unit; and (c) recirculating a gas containing the unreacted vinyl chloride-based monomers discharged from the filtering unit to a latex storage unit.
FILM INCLUDING HYBRID SOLVENT BARRIER AND PRIMER LAYER
Conformable, stretchable, printable films are described. In particular, films that include a film substrate, a pressure sensitive adhesive, and a hybrid solvent barrier/primer layer including a blend of two copolyamides that are not miscible are described. Such hybrid solvent barrier and primer layers may be effective as both a solvent barrier and a primer layer.
SANITIZING COVERS FOR ARTICLES
Disclosed herein is a mat comprising a first foam layer; and a sanitizer; where the first foam layer is saturated with the sanitizer. Disclosed herein too is a method of manufacturing a mat comprising immersing a foam in a sanitizer; and saturating the foam with the sanitizer.
Silica and silicate blended fiber polymer composite
The claimed material relates to a mixed silica and silicate fiber and polymer composite having enhanced modulus, viscoelastic and rheological properties.
Scratch-resistant floor and method for producing same, and floor coating
A floor coating, which is prepared from 55-70% by weight of an epoxy-modified polyurethane resin, 5-10% by weight of Al.sub.2O.sub.3, 10-25% by weight of SiC, 0.4-1% by weight of a leveling agent, 0.3-1% by weight of a dispersant, 5-10% by weight of a solvent and 0.2-0.8% by weight of a curing agent. A degree of polymerization of the epoxy-modified polyurethane resin is 80-100. A scratch-resistant floor and a preparation method thereof are also disclosed herein.
