The present invention relates to trowelable aqueous compositions for making rubbery composite mats for flooring and subflooring comprising an aqueous polymer foam forming component of A) one or more hard vinyl or acrylic aqueous emulsion polymers, preferably, acrylic or styrene acrylate aqueous emulsion polymers, and B) one or more soft vinyl or acrylic aqueous emulsion polymers, preferably, acrylic or styrene acrylate aqueous emulsion polymers and, as a rubbery composite component, C) (i) lightweight inorganic aggregates having a density of from 0.18 to 0.4 g/cm.sup.3, and C) (ii) one of or a combination of (a) crosslinked rubber granules and (b) finely divided crosslinked rubber particles. The trowelable aqueous compositions of the present invention provide seamless sound damping mats comprising the emulsion polymers A) and B) in a foam comprising a dispersion the granular and finely divided crosslinked rubber particles. The trowelable aqueous compositions may further comprise a thickener and an organic foaming agent.

A polyester resin composition includes a polyester resin A containing 70 to 100% by mass of a polybutylene terephthalate resin and 0 to 30% by mass of a polyethylene terephthalate resin, and includes a metal organic acid salt B that is either one or both of an alkali metal organic acid salt and an alkaline earth metal organic acid salt and a predetermined amount of a polyfunctional glycidyl group-containing styrene-based polymer C, and the polyester resin composition contains either one or both of alkali metal atoms and alkaline earth metal atoms in a predetermined amount based on 100 parts by mass of the polyester resin A, and further, the content of linear oligomers of polybutylene terephthalate or the content of the linear oligomers of polybutylene terephthalate and the linear oligomers of polyethylene terephthalate is less than or equal to 1000 mg/kg.
THERMOPLASTIC POLYESTER RESIN COMPOSITION AND LIGHT REFLECTOR USING SAME
The present invention is directed to a thermoplastic polyester resin composition that contains 100 to 50 parts by mass of a polybutylene terephthalate resin (A) and 0 to 50 parts by mass of a polyethylene terephthalate resin (B), and contains 1 to 20 parts by mass of a surface-treated calcium carbonate (C) having an average particle size of 0.05 to 2 m and 0.05 to 3 parts by mass of a multifunctional glycidyl group-containing styrene-based polymer (D) with respect to 100 parts by mass of the total polyester resin contained in the resin composition.
MODIFIED CRYSTALLIZED POLYETHYLENE TEREPHTHALATE AND METHOD OF MAKING THE SAME
A modified crystallized polyethylene terephthalate (modified CPET) resin and method of making the same is provided herein. The modified CPET resin comprising crystallized polyethylene terephthalate with a first refractive index, an impact modifier with a second refractive index, and a compatibilizer with a third refractive index. The second refractive index is within (0.05 to 0.02) of the first refractive index, and the third refractive index is within (0.05 to 0.02) of the first refractive index.

A biodegradable polyester composition based on a total weight of the biodegradable polyester composition, including a weight content of tetrahydrofuran, which is 3 ppm-200 ppm; and based on the total weight of the biodegradable polyester composition, a weight content of cyclopentanone is 0.5 ppm-85 ppm is provided. The tetrahydrofuran and cyclopentanone is added into the composition and controlling the content of tetrahydrofuran and the content of cyclopentanone in a certain range in the composition to realize printing performance. Moreover, when a velocity of film blowing is 176 Kg/h, a range of a film thickness is less than 0.2 m and a relative deviation of the film thickness is less than 1%.

The layered product of the present invention is a layered product comprising a release layer on a substrate, the release layer comprising a granular carboxylic anhydride-modified olefin resin and a binding part containing an acid group-free thermoplastic resin, the carboxylic anhydride-modified olefin resin having an average particle size of 0.5 to 20 m, the binding part having a thickness of 0.25 to 20 m, and the release layer having an actual acid value of 100 mg KOH/m.sup.2 or more.
