The present invention relates to a piezoelectric material, comprising: a vinylidene fluoride/trifluoroethylene copolymer; and a (meth)acrylic polymer which contains a structural unit derived from a (meth)acrylic monomer represented by Formula (I):

The present invention provides a release hard coating, comprising a bottom hard coating component and a top release coating component, wherein the bottom hard coating component comprises a crosslinked polymer matrix and nano-silica particles; and the top release coating component comprises a release polymer capable of having a grafting reaction with the bottom hard coating component. The release hard coating can be applied onto a substrate such as PET to resist sticky illegal advertisements and protect the substrate from wear.

Some polymeric devices, as described herein, can be made of a first layer and a second layer bonded together with one or more microfluidic channels defined internal to the device. The first layer and the second layer may each include a substrate and a polymer bonded to the substrate. The two layers may be bonded through a polymer network that interpenetrates the polymers in the first and second layers. This disclosure also describes methods of bonding together polymeric articles. The methods include diffusing polymerizable monomers and radical forming initiators into the surfaces of one or both of the polymers, putting the surfaces into contact, and initiating polymerization to create a polymer network that interpenetrates the polymers.

METHOD FOR PRODUCING FILM

Provided is a method for producing a film, including a step A of applying a coating liquid containing a film-forming compound, a polymer, and a solvent onto a support to form a coating film, the polymer being at least one selected from a polymer having a fluoroaliphatic group or a polymer having a siloxane structure, and allowing a solution having the polymer dissolved in methyl ethyl ketone at a solid content of 55% by mass to have a viscosity of 15 mPa.Math.s or more at a liquid temperature of 60 C.; a step B of drying the coating film formed in the step A at a rate at which the coating film shows a mass change of from 0.02 g/m.sup.2/s to 0.1 g/m.sup.2/s for a time which is twice or more t seconds satisfying a predetermined condition A; and a step C of drying the coating film after the step B at a rate at which the coating film shows a mass change of from 0.02 g/m.sup.2/s to 0.2 g/m.sup.2/s.
