Disclosed is a composition comprising an electrophile, a nucleophile, and a thermally conductive filler package. The filler package may comprise thermally conductive, electrically insulative filler particles that may have a thermal conductivity of at least 5 W/m.Math.K (measured according to ASTM D7984) and a volume resistivity of at least 10 Ω.Math.m (measured according to ASTM D257, C611, or B193) and that may be present in an amount of at least 90% by volume based on total volume of the filler package. The thermally conductive filler package may be present in an amount of at least 10% by volume percent based on total volume of the composition. The present invention also is directed to a method for treating a substrate and to substrates comprising a layer formed from a compositions disclosed herein.
Methods and systems for 3D printing with powders
A method of printing a three dimensional article (201) can include forming a bottom layer of the three dimensional article (201) by spraying a dry build material powder (210) onto a build platform (230) while heating the dry build material powder (210). The dry build material powder (210) can include metal or ceramic particles mixed with a polymeric binder having a softening point temperature. The dry build material powder (210) can be heated to a temperature above the softening point temperature such that the dry build material powder (210) adheres to the build platform (230). Subsequent layers can be formed by spraying dry build material powder (210) onto a lower layer while heating the dry build material powder (210) such that the dry build material powder (210) adheres to the lower layer.
Composite cables
Composite cables suitable for use in conjunction with wellbore tools. One cable may include a polymer composite that includes dopants dispersed in a polymer matrix and continuous fibers extending along an axial length of the cable through the polymer matrix, wherein the cable is characterized by at least one of the following: (1) at least a portion of the cable having a density greater than about 2 g/cm3, wherein at least some of the dopants have a density of about 6 g/cm3 or greater, (2) at least a portion of the cable having a density less than about 2 g/cm3, wherein at least some of the dopants have a density of about 0.9 g/cm3 or less, (3) at least some of the dopants are ferromagnetic, or (4) at least some of the dopants are hydrogen getters.
COMPOSITION FOR CORROSION PREVENTION
The composition described herein for the prevention of corrosion includes sacrificial metal particles more noble than a metal substrate to which the composition contacts, carbonaceous material that can form electrical contact between the sacrificial metal particles, and means for providing an anticorrosion coating material for the metal substrate. The composition can form a coating on a metal substrate surface.
PAINT TINTING ADJUVANT WITH SICCATIVE FOR LIQUID COLORANT SYSTEM
A point-of-sale custom color system for tinting base paints and stains includes an array of water-only fluid colorants, including at least white, green, blue and red water-only colorants, which can be used to tint water-borne paints and stains. When tinting solvent-borne base paints or stains, at least one siccative is added to the solvent-borne base paint or stains at the point-of sale and a synergist containing one or more surfactants and optional dispersing agents or optional cosolvents is also added to or is a part of the solvent-borne base paint or stains. Collectively, the siccative and synergist enable effective tinting using the water-only colorants and suitable drying characteristics of the solvent-borne paint or stain.
Water-soluble solid or semi-solid dispersion of particles
Disclosed are solid or semisolid compositions the including finely divided particles and a water-soluble matrix that dissolves and disperses the particles when in contact with water. Also disclosed are kits for reducing and/or inhibiting odor formation on garment. The kit include one or more containers, wherein at least one of the one or more container includes solid or semisolid compositions the including finely divided particles and a water-soluble matrix that dissolves and disperses the particles when in contact with water. An edible silver delivery system including the compositions is disclosed as are methods of delivering silver to a subject in need thereof.
