Ceramic coated iron particles and methods for making ceramic coated particles
The present disclosure provides a coated iron particle, or reaction product of a coating and the iron particle, comprising an iron particle and a ceramic coating disposed on the iron particle. Aspects of the present disclosure provide a coated iron particle, or reaction product of a coating and the iron particle, including an iron particle having a diameter of from about 0.5 micron to about 100 microns; and a ceramic coating disposed on the iron particle. Aspects of the present disclosure further provide compositions comprising a coated iron particle and a polymer or adhesion promoter. Aspects of the present disclosure further provide components, such as components, such as vehicle components, having a surface and a composition of the present disclosure disposed on the surface.
Magnetorheological elastomer and magnetorheological fluid for clinical wrap
A reinforcing clinical wrap is provided with integral thermal management. The clinical wrap includes a fluid circuit for a heat transfer medium to circulate between a fluid inlet and a fluid outlet. A shape conforming medium is disposed within a portion of the clinical wrap providing selective reinforcement support of the portion of the clinical wrap to conform to a surface of a patient. Non-limiting examples of the shape conforming medium may include a magnetorheological elastomer, a magnetorheological elastomer, a magnetorheological foam, a UV curable resin, and a phase change material.
SLURRY COMPOSITION
The present invention provides a slurry composition in which magnetic material powder has excellent dispersibility and excellent dispersion stability and which enables production of a sheet having high surface smoothness and high adhesiveness to substrates. Provided is a slurry composition containing: a polyvinyl acetal resin; magnetic material powder; and a Na ion, the slurry composition having a Na ion content of 1,000 to 3,000 μg/g relative to the polyvinyl acetal resin.

SPRAY FOAM ELECTROMAGNETIC INTERFERENCE ABSORBER
A method, a device, and a composition are disclosed. The method includes providing a polyol blend that includes a polyol resin and an electromagnetic (EMA) additive, providing an isocyanate resin selected such that blending the isocyanate resin with the polyol blend results in an EMA spray foam. The device includes a first compartment containing an isocyanate resin and a second compartment containing a polyol blend, which includes a polyol resin and an EMA additive. The composition includes a polyurethane spray foam and an EMA additive blended into the polyurethane spray foam.
HEAT-AGING RESISTANT POLYAMIDE MOLDING COMPOSITIONS
Disclosed herein is a thermoplastic molding composition, including: a) 30 to 99.85 wt % of at least one thermoplastic polyamide as component A; b) 0.1 to 10 wt % of at least one polyhydric alcohol having more than 6 hydroxyl groups, and having a number average molecular weight M.sub.n of more than 2000 g/mol as component B; c) 0.05 to 3 wt % of at least one sterically hindered phenol antioxidant as component C; d) 0 to 3 wt % of at least one polycarboxylic compound having more than 3 carboxylic acid groups and/or carboxylate groups, and having a number average molecular weight M.sub.n of more than 300 g/mol as component D; e) 0 to 50 wt % of at least one fibrous and/or particulate filler as component E; and f) 0 to 25 wt % of further additives as component F; where the total of wt % of components A to F is 100 wt %.
Methods for making polymer-reinforced steel matrix composites
Composite materials include a steel matrix with structural polymer integrated into the matrix. The composite materials have substantially lower density than steel, and are expected to have appreciable strength. Methods for forming composite steel composites includes combining a structural polymer component, such as a woven polymer, with steel nanoparticles and sintering the steel nanoparticles in order to form a steel matrix with structural polymer integrated therein.

An object of the present invention is to provide a composition that can form a magnetic particle-containing film having excellent magnetic isotropy and has excellent temporal stability. Another object of the present invention is to provide a magnetic particle-containing film that relates to the composition, and an electronic component that includes the magnetic particle-containing film.
The composition according to an embodiment of the present invention is a composition containing magnetic particles and a rheology control agent, in which a content of the magnetic particles having an aspect ratio less than 8 is 25% by mass or more with respect to a total mass of the magnetic particles, the magnetic particles contain metal atoms, the metal atoms contain one or more kinds of specific atoms selected from the group consisting of Ni atoms and Co atoms, and a content of the specific atoms is 50% by mass or more with respect to a total mass of the metal atoms.

Fiber-reinforced polymer composition for use in an electronic module
A fiber-reinforced polymer composition that comprises a polymer matrix; a thermally conductive filler distributed within the polymer matrix; and a plurality of long fibers distributed within the polymer matrix is provided. The long fibers comprise an electrically conductive material and have a length of about 7 millimeters or more. Further, the composition exhibits an in-plane thermal conductivity of about 1 W/m-K or more as determined in accordance with ASTM E 1461-13 and an electromagnetic shielding effectiveness of about 20 dB or more as determined at a frequency of 1 GHz in accordance with EM 2107A.
