Super Absorbent Polymer And Its Preparation Method
The present disclosure relates to a super absorbent polymer exhibiting improved rewetting property and excellent absorption property, and a preparation method of the same. This preparation method of a super absorbent polymer includes the steps of: preparing a base resin in which an acrylic acid-based monomer having at least partially neutralized acidic groups and an internal cross-linking agent are cross-linked and polymerized; and heating the base resin in the presence of a surface cross-linking agent to carry out surface modification, wherein the internal cross-linking agent includes a poly(meth)acrylate of polyols-based first internal cross-linking agent and a polyglycidyl ether of polyols-based second internal cross-linking agent in a specific weight ratio.
CELLULOSE DERIVED HYDROPHOBIC, BIO-DEGRADABLE FILMS FOR MULCH & OTHER APPLICATIONS
The present invention describes synthesis and properties of cellulose based biodegradable hydrophobic mulch film for agricultural applications. The invented method can also be used to obtain an highly hydrophobic mulch film. Cellulose, the most abundant natural polymer is chemically modified to make bio-degradable, mulch films that are partially air permeable but water impermeable. The water impermeability can be changed by varying the processing conditions. The film can be multi-functional; that is besides providing the water impermeability the film can also be customized to adjust the pH of soil and to deliver herbicides or fertilizers to the soil. Other lignocellulosic materials or different combinations of synthetic fibers, fabrics or polymers and cellulose materials including newsprint can also be used to make the biodegradable hydrophobic film. Additionally, the invention can be used to make biodegradable extremely hydrophobic self-cleaning products for other hydrophobic applications such as packaging materials or disposable water-proof clothing.

METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING ELECTRICALLY CONDUCTIVE STRUCTURES ON A CARRIER MATERIAL
A method for manufacturing electrically conductive structures, preferably conductive pathway structures using laser beams on a non-conductive carrier (LDS method), wherein a non-conductive carrier material is provided which contains at least one inorganic metal phosphate compound and at least one stabiliser finely distributed or dissolved therein, the carrier material is irradiated in regions by laser beams generating the electrically conductive structures in the irradiated regions.
Super Absorbent Polymer And Method For Producing Same
A super absorbent polymer according to the present invention has excellent dryness while maintaining excellent absorption performance, and thus is preferably used for hygienic materials such as diapers, and can exhibit excellent performance.
Particulate water absorbing agent and water absorbent article
A water absorbent resin (water absorbing agent) and method for producing it are provided which improve, in a water absorbent article (in particular, a diaper) including a water absorbent resin as a water absorbing agent, the absolute absorption amount (g), liquid absorbing times (in particular, liquid absorbing times at the second instance and later), re-wet (g), and diffusion distance (%) of the water absorbent article. A particulate water absorbing agent of the present invention has a CRC, a proportion of particles with sizes of 600 m to 150 m as defined through a standard-sieve classification, an SST, and the value of the difference between an FST and the SST each within a predetermined range.
GOLF BALL
A golf ball includes a core and a cover. The core is formed of a material molded under heat from a rubber composition. The rubber composition includes components (A) through (C). The components (A) through (C) are (A) a base rubber, (B) an organic peroxide, and (C) a water providing agent. The water providing agent releases water at a vulcanization temperature at which the rubber composition is vulcanized. The dissociation rate of water of the water providing agent in the case of heating the water providing agent up to the vulcanization temperature of the rubber composition is 60% by mass or more.
Binder composition for electrochemical device, conductive material dispersion liquid for electrochemical device, slurry composition for electrochemical device electrode, electrode for electrochemical device, and electrochemical device
Provided is a binder composition for an electrochemical device that can stably disperse a conductive carbon material and that can cause an electrochemical device to display excellent output characteristics and high-voltage cycle characteristics. The binder composition for an electrochemical device contains a polymer including a nitrile group-containing monomer unit and an alkylene structural unit and a group 13 element and satisfies a relationship formula: 0.1?M/I?150 (in the formula, I is the iodine value [g/100 g] of the polymer and M is the concentration [ppm] of the group 13 element).
Coating material
A coating material is allowed to contain a sulfate having a higher degree of solubility in water than that of calcium sulfate. The sulfate is an additive for coating materials which is used for reducing the consumption of zinc (including zinc oxide) in a coating film formed from the coating material and the corrosion of a base material when the coating film is scratched. The content of the sulfate can be 0.004 to 0.65 mol per 100 g of the content of zinc. Alternatively, the content of the sulfate may be 0.006 to 0.186 mol per 100 g of a heating residue (except for the sulfate added) of a coating film.
