Method of pulping cotton-based raw material
The present invention relates to a method of pulping cotton-based raw material for producing dissolving pulp. More specifically, the invention relates to a process for producing dissolving pulp under alkaline conditions in combination with a gaseous oxidizing agent. The present invention further relates to dissolving pulp obtainable by pulping cotton-based raw material, in particular dissolving pulp obtainable by the method of the present invention, the use of such dissolving pulp for producing regenerated cellulose molded bodies, and methods of producing lyocell or viscose including such dissolving pulp.
UPCYCLED CELLULOSIC FIBERS
Cellulosic material for the production of regenerated cellulosic fiber is disclosed. The cellulosic material comprises reclaimed cellulosic material, wherein the reclaimed cellulosic material is obtained from cellulosic material waste and has an intrinsic viscosity in a range of 170 ml/g to 280 ml/g. A process for preparing reclaimed cellulosic material for the production of regenerated cellulosic fiber is also disclosed.
ADDITIVE-CONTAINING BIOPOLYMER COMPOSITIONS
Polymer compositions and methods for producing the same. The polymer compositions include a component (A), a component (B) and a component (C). Where the component (A) is 65% to 99.4% by weight of biopolymers, the component (B) is 0.5% to 30% by weight of homopolymers, copolymers or terpolymers based on vinyl acetate and the component (C) is 0.1% to 5% by weight of organopolysiloxane pellets.

OXIDIZED CELLULOSE-BASED MATERIAL, METHOD FOR OBTAINING SAME AND USE THEREOF AS COMPRESS
The present invention relates to a method of obtaining a solid material based on a polymer having its cellobiose units exhibiting the following characteristics: at least some of the cellobiose units have at least one carboxylic acid function attached to the C.sub.6 carbon, the other C.sub.6 carbons having a primary alcohol function attached thereto; and at least some of the cellobiose units have at least one of the two rings open between the C.sub.2 and C.sub.3 carbons, the other C.sub.2 and C.sub.3 carbons forming a ring and having an alcohol function attached thereto.
Such a material, advantageously a textile, may be used as a compress.
