X-RAY DETECTABLE FABRIC AND ITS USE IN SURGICAL PATTIES AND SPONGES
An x-ray detectable fabric comprising: a first set of fibers having a rayon composition; a second set of fibers having a polymeric composition with an x-ray detectable material impregnated therein; wherein the first and second sets of fibers are in an entangled state as a cohesive porous fabric, and wherein fibers in the second set of fibers are distributed throughout the fabric. In particular embodiments, the first and second sets of fibers are in a non-woven state, with a bonding agent maintaining adhesion between the fibers. The polymeric composition in the second set of fibers may be selected from, for example, vinyl addition polymers, polyesters, rayon, nylon, and cellulosic compositions. The first set of fibers may or may not also include an x-ray detectable material.

A non-painted thermoplastic resin composition including viscose rayon so as to embody a marble pattern and a method for making it are disclosed. The viscose rayon is included in the thermoplastic resin composition to minimize the deterioration of physical properties while minimizing weld lines and flow marks during an extrusion process, and a luxurious outer appearance of a marble pattern is embodied without additional post-processing or painting process. The non-painted thermoplastic resin composition includes 80-90 parts by weight of a thermoplastic resin composition, 0.1-5 parts by weight of a carbon fiber, and 0.1-3 parts by weight of viscose rayon based on 100 parts by weight of the entire resin composition. The viscose rayon provides an effect of minimizing weld lines and flow marks during injection, improving physical properties, and providing the luxurious appearance of the marble pattern.

FIBER-REINFORCED RESIN COMPOSITION
The present invention provides a fiber-reinforced resin composition, which provides a molded article having a good mechanical strength. The fiber-reinforced resin composition contains a resin-adhered long fiber bundle including (A) a thermoplastic resin and (B) a rayon fiber, wherein the rayon fiber of the component (B) satisfies the following requirements (b1), (b2) and (b3), and the resin-adhered long fiber bundle is obtained by adhering and integrating the thermoplastic resin of the component (A) in a molten state to and with a strand of longitudinally-arranged rayon fibers of the component (B), and cutting the strand into a length of 3 to 30 mm, (b1) a fiber diameter of 5 to 30 m; (b2) a tensile elongation of 10% or more; and (b3) a flat shape with a ratio between a major axis length and a minor axis length (major axis length/minor axis length) in a width-directional cross section of 1.1 or more.
FIBER-REINFORCED RESIN COMPOSITION
The present invention provides a fiber-reinforced resin composition, which provides a molded article having a good mechanical strength. FLAME-RETARDANT VISCOSE AND FABRIC
The present invention discloses a flame-retardant viscose. The flame-retardant viscose has a denier of 2.78-3.70 dtex. The flame-retardant viscose consists of a viscose and a composite flame retardant, and the composite flame retardant includes a silicic acid. According to the technical solution, the above flame-retardant viscose has a denier of 2.78-3.70 dtex. The fiber has obviously improved spinning efficiency at such a scope of denier, and the fabric woven after spinning has a long-lasting flame-retarding effect.

A biocidal and photoluminescent treatment of viscose fibre immediately following the addition of carbon disulfide in the conversion of cellulose into viscose (xanthation), which comprises a biocidal composition and an additive that allows the presence thereof to be identified by a luminescent effect, wherein the biocidal composition is added in an amount of 0.1-5 wt % of the material and comprises 3-5% phosphate glass with silver, 1-3.5% silicone, 0.1-0.3% aliphatic hydrocarbons and 90-95% water, and the luminescent additive is added in an amount of 0.1-5 wt % of the material and comprises 20-40% silica gel, 10-30% alumina gel, 30-50% calcium fluoride, 0.5-3% erbium (III) fluoride, 5-15% ytterbium (III) fluoride, a maximum of 5% thulium (III) fluoride and a maximum of 1% europium (III) fluoride, with respect to the total weight of the luminescent additive.
