POLYOLEFIN COMPOSITIONS FOR PHOTOVOLTAIC ENCAPSULANT FILMS
The present disclosure relates to an encapsulant film made from a curable composition comprising: (A) a polyolefin polymer; (B) an organic peroxide; (C) a silane coupling agent; and (D) a co-agent comprising a monocyclic organosiloxane of formula (I).
METHODS OF CROSSLINKING AND COMPOSITIONS
The present disclosure provides a method for crosslinking polyolefins through using a substantially-miscible, polyolefin-based, silane-crosslinking-agent carrier and related moisture-crosslinkable polyolefin-based compositions. The method is for crosslinking a first polyolefin includes the steps of: (A) selecting a second polyolefin being substantially-miscible with the first polyolefin and having particles of a morphology selected from the group consisting of powder and substantially spherical; (B) admixing the second polyolefin to the first polyolefin; (C) adsorbing a silane-crosslinking agent onto the second polyolefin, thereby rendering a substantially-miscible, polyolefin-based, silane-crosslinking-agent carrier; (D) melt blending the first polyolefin and the substantially-miscible, polyolefin-based, silane-crosslinking-agent carrier, thereby yielding a moisture-crosslinkable polyolefin-based composition; and (E) crosslinking the moisture-crosslinkable polyolefin-based composition.

BLENDED POTTING RESINS AND USE THEREOF
A thermoplastic blended potting resin, a blended resin potted membrane, a membrane separation module, a fluid separation device, a method of making and a method of using the membrane separation module and the fluid separation device are described herein. The blended thermoplastic potting resin comprises at least one polar membrane having two end regions and a middle region; and a blended resin comprising a non-polar thermoplastic polymer and a polar thermoplastic polymer; wherein at least one of the two ends regions is coated with the blended potting resin to form a fluid-tight seal between the end regions and the open middle region, and wherein the polar thermoplastic polymer is 1% or greater by weight of blended resin.
THERMOPLASTIC RESIN COMPOSITION
Provided is a thermoplastic resin composition excellent in flexibility and mechanical strength with a good balance.
The thermoplastic resin composition includes 100 parts by mass of a thermoplastic resin which is hydrogenated product of a block copolymer including a polymer block (X) having a vinyl aromatic compound as a main component and a polymer block (Y) having a conjugated diene compound as a main component, and 1 to 400 parts by mass of a modified ethylene/-olefin copolymer satisfying the following requirements (b-1) to (b-3).
Requirement (b-1): the content of a structural unit derived from ethylene is 15 to 85 mol %.
Requirement (b-2): the weight-average molecular weight is in the range of 1,000 to 100,000.
Requirement (b-3): the modified ethylene/-olefin copolymer (B) is a modified copolymer having a substituent derived from one or more vinyl aromatic compounds, and the content of a moiety derived from the one or more vinyl aromatic compounds in the modified copolymer is in the range of 1 to 70% by mass.
