AQUEOUS INKS CONTAINING SOLVENT DYES
The present invention pertains to an aqueous ink containing mixtures of solvent dyes and disperse dyes suitable for printing on hydrophobic textile substrates.
Disperse dye composition, disperse dye and preparation method and use thereof
A disperse dye composition, disperse dye and preparation method and use thereof are described. The disperse dye is suitable for fabrics, particularly for dyeing and printing of dacron and blended fabrics thereof.
USE OF NOVEL NAPHTHOL AS-PIGMENT-MIXTURES IN PRINTING-MATERIALS
The invention relates to the use of pigment mixtures which contain at least one pigment of formulas (Ia) and (Ib), wherein, independent from each other, X1, X3 represent carbamoyl, C1-C4-alkylcarbamoyl, di(C1-C4)-alkylcarbamoyl, sulfamoyl, phenylsulfamoyl, C1-C4-alkylsulfamoyl or di(C1-C4)-alkylsulfamoyl; X2, X4 represents hydrogen, C1-C4-alkyl, C1-C4-alkoxy, halogen or nitro; Y1, Y2 represents hydrogen, halogen or C1-C4-alkyl, C1-C4-alkoxy or C1-C4-alkoxycarbonyl; and Z1, Z2 represents hydrogen, phenyl, naphthyl, benzimidazolonyl, substituted phenyl or substituted naphthyl, wherein the substituents can be 1, 2, 3 or 4 and selected from the groups halogen, nitro, cyano, C1-C4-alkoxycarbonyl, carbamoyl, C1-C4-alkylcarbamoyl, di(C1-C4)-alkylcarbamoyl, phenylcarbamoyl, sulfamoyl, phenylsulfamoyl, C1-C4-alkylsulfamoyl, di(C1-C4)-alkylsulfamoyl, C1-C4-acylamino, C1-C4-alkyl and C1-C4-alkoxy, and the pigments of formulas (Ia) and (Ib) are different. Said pigment mixtures are used as a dye in printing methods.
HIGH WET FAST BRILLIANT BLUE DISPERSE DYE MIXTURES
The present invention is directed to high wet fast brilliant blue disperse dye mixtures comprising dye(s) of formula (I)
##STR00001##
and of formula (II)
##STR00002##
their production and their use for textile dyeing and printing.
Metal azo pigments
The novel yellow metal azo pigments based on at least two metal azo compounds which differ at least in the type of metal have both improved dispersion properties and improved color strengths and are of excellent suitability for pigmentation of pigment preparations for a broad field of use.
Pigment composites comprising synergists and polymer coatings
Disclosed herein are composite particles comprising; a pigment; at least one ionic synergist adsorbed to the pigment surface; and at least one ionic polymer coating the pigment surface comprising the at least one synergist, wherein the at least one synergist and the at least one polymer have opposing charges, and wherein in the composite, a total charge of the at least one polymer is greater than a total charge of the at least one synergist. Also disclosed are dispersions and inkjet ink compositions comprising composite particles.
Disperse azo dyes, a process for the preparation thereof and the use thereof
The present invention relates to azo dyes of formula ##STR00001##
wherein R.sub.1 denotes C.sub.1-C.sub.12 alkyl which is unsubstituted or substituted by one or more C.sub.1-C.sub.12 alkoxy groups, hydroxyl groups, amino groups, cyano groups or halogen atoms and which may be interrupted one or more times by the radical O, S, NR.sub.4, COO or OOC; R.sub.4 is hydrogen or C.sub.1-C.sub.12 alkyl; either R.sub.2 is cyano and R.sub.3 is halogen or R.sub.2 is halogen and R.sub.3 is cyano; and Ar represents a carbocyclic or heterocyclic aromatic radical, to the process for the preparation thereof, to mixtures containing said dyes and to the use thereof in dyeing or printing semi-synthetic and especially synthetic hydrophobic fiber materials, more especially textile materials.
Metal azo pigments
The novel yellow metal azo pigments based on at least three metal azo compounds which differ at least in the type of metal have improved color strengths and are of excellent suitability for pigmentation of pigment preparations for a broad field of use.
