AQUEOUS VINYL ACETATE ETHYLENE COPOLYMER DISPERSION FOR PAPER COATING
The invention relates to a polymer dispersion for paper coating compositions obtainable by means of a radically initiated, aqueous emulsion polymerization of a) 60 to 97% by weight of vinyl acetate, b) 2 to 30% by weight of ethylene, c) 0.5 to 5% by weight of at least one ethylenically unsaturated silane monomer, d) 0.5 to 5% by weight of at least one ethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acid, based in each case on the total weight of the monomers used for the polymerization, and the data in % by weight summing in each case to 100% by weight, in the presence of one or more polymeric emulsifiers.
COATING OF A SURFACE
This invention describes a dispersion for coating a polymer surface comprising polyglycerol esters and a surfactant being a neutralized or partially neutralised fatty acid or a neutralized or partially neutralized ester of fatty acids. The dispersion can be diluted into a coating composition, which can be applied as a coating on a polymer surface. The coating has anti-static and anti-fogging effects and can be used for for example a variety of different packaging materials.
Non-aqueous dispersant, color material dispersion liquid and method for producing the same, color resin composition and method for producing the same, color filter, liquid crystal display device, and organic light-emitting display device
Disclosed is a non-aqueous dispersant which is excellent in dispersibility and dispersion stability and able to form a resin layer with excellent hydrolysis resistance; a color material dispersion liquid containing the non-aqueous dispersant; and a color resin composition containing the non-aqueous dispersant. The non-aqueous dispersant is a polymer comprising at least one constitutional unit represented by the following general formula (I), wherein at least part of nitrogen sites of the constitutional units each form a salt with an acidic organophosphorous compound comprising one or more selected from the group consisting of organic phosphonic acid monoester compounds resulting from addition of a monofunctional epoxy compound or monofunctional oxetane compound to an organic phosphonic acid: ##STR00001##
Non-ionic surfactant composition and fluoropolymer aqueous dispersion
A nonionic surfactant composition including: a nonionic surfactant that contains a molecule having a C.sub.10-C.sub.22 alkyl group and/or alkenyl group as a hydrophobic group, a polyoxyalkylene chain as a hydrophilic group, no aromatic ring, no C.sub.9-C.sub.14 alkyl group derived from an alcohol that is produced from a higher olefin derived from a mixture of propylene and butene through an oxo process, and no C.sub.13 alkyl group derived from an alcohol that is produced from a higher olefin derived from a propylene tetramer through an oxo process. The nonionic surfactant has a hydrodynamic radius of 5.0 to 8.0 nm at 40 C. in an aqueous solution in which a nonionic surfactant concentration is 0.1 kg/L in the nonionic surfactant composition, the radius being measured by a dynamic light scattering method.
