Method of making nanoparticle colloid and nanoporous layer
This application features a method of forming a nanoporous layer. The method includes steps of dispensing on a substrate a colloid composition comprising a liquid and a number of nanoparticle clusters, and subjecting the dispensed colloid composition to drying to form the nanoporous layer over the substrate. The nanoporous layer includes nanoparticles deposited to form a three dimensional network of irregularly shaped bodies. The nanoporous layer also includes a three dimensional network of irregularly shaped spaces that are not occupied by the three dimensional network of irregularly shaped bodies.

The present invention relates to a pigmented matte coating composition comprising an aqueous dispersion of a) phosphorus acid functionalized polymer particles; b) TiO.sub.2 particles; c) polymeric organic microspheres; and d) a rheology modifier. The composition of the present invention gives matte finish coatings having the stain and scrub resistant attributes similar to coatings formed from semi-gloss paint compositions.

An organic resistor is provided. The organic resistor includes a rubber substrate and a conducting film disposed over the rubber substrate. The conducting film includes a composite of carbon nanotubes and a nickel phthalocyanine complex dispersed in one or more edible oil(s). The present disclosure also relates to a method of making the organic resistor using rubbing-in technology. The organic resistor of the present invention is environmentally friendly and ecologically clean.
SOLVENT-FREE COATING COMPOSITION
The present invention relates to a coating composition which is an anticorrosive paint for ship structures and can be coated by a regular airless painting machine, and is solvent-free or contains a low solvent content. The coating composition according to an embodiment of the present invention may exhibit excellent pot life, atomization and drying time, and is eco-friendly due to having a high solid content and thus lower VOC emissions.
